Yorkies, my vice. With a good gravy, that would always win. Lol

Why do all the pans apoear to be nonstick? How can you sear anything in that? Rarely see cast iron pans. Never see stainless steel, or (my favorite) carbon steel. I know that they have a sensitive smoke alarm, but I disable mine all the time. 😊

Edit: Jamie could have pulsed his veg in a food processor. I'm just sayin'…

I want to eat at this restaurant! My taste buds wanted to taste it all <3

Fusion of a Bunny Chow from South Africa and Greek meat with chips is just another South African meal called a Kota

Does anybody actually like Barry or does his mom just make you guys hang out with him because she sponsors the show?????

  7. @RoseDragoness

    December 18, 2023 at 2:20 am

To me the winner is Barry's fries, which people can't stop eating it.

I must say as a South African there was nothing South African about Barry''s dish! That is an insult saying that it is a bunny chow 🤦🏻

  9. @ThurstonCyclist

    December 18, 2023 at 2:20 am

I think where Jamie fell down was in his choice of dish. Chicken katsu is already pretty much a fusion dish, so fusing it again with another cuisine and it doesn't really have much of an identity anymore.

I think Mike won to stop him crying from stress 😂

I know it’s 2 yrs late but nothing about Barry’s dish is South African….

That was such a good episode, really love how you guys are together. The dad joke, it made me LOL all over the place!
    🤣🤣

What Barry made reminded me of a Kota
It's basically a bunny chow bread with slap chips, polony, eggs, sausages
It's also a South African dish

  14. @LemurDreamer87

    December 18, 2023 at 2:20 am

Jamie, of all people, was the only one not to use beef, and also came in third. Coincidence?

Please do more of these fusion battles guys. Love them. ❤

FYI, the foccacia like greek bread is called ladenia. Literally means she who is made of oil.

    Love, from Greece.

PS, i would love to see you guys explore greek cuisine a little more. It feels a bit neglected

if you state stop eating my chips, 2 times the third time should be a quick strike to the sternum or nose with the hilt of the knife. Do this once no one will touch your chips again lol

Mike's dish was stellar but at the same time would have been the easiest for most English or American cooks.

  25. @huckleberrywinn

    December 18, 2023 at 2:20 am

the bromance is so real hahaha

  26. @Misshowzat

Wait, Creole and Japanese? And a community of 3 year olds?
    (Waits for 'Crapanese/Crepenese jokes)

  27. @maryjoyspohrer256

    December 18, 2023 at 2:20 am

I would be the winner, because I would enjoy all of that.

There is a Japanese Creole/Cajun dish called Yaka-Mein. When the soldiers were coming back from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, they tried and wanted to replicate the soup noodle dishes they had overseas such as Ramen. Unfortunately they didn’t have access to and/or likely even know how to, so they did it with their local ingredients. It’s basically a cross between a rich gumbo and ramen.
    And it’s great!

  29. @ayesnapsnots

    December 18, 2023 at 2:20 am

Creole and Japanese is now my Friday night dinner. That being said… you spaffed it
