All these people saying we need cabinet experience now need to look at the last 3 pm’s, who struggled to do full terms. We need someone not tainted by the WEF or the civil service.

You are correct that new PM must get a grip on weekly/monthly budgets of working class and middle class people. There will be huge numbers of bankruptcies in 2023 if not, current economic situation is unsustainable going into next year for majority of population. Also dignity must be restored to Downing Street, a short period of military style order & discipline in the Cabinet might be helpful to put "partygate shame" image in the past, otherwise Downing Street will have no gravitas on the international leadership scene.

Perhaps he could make a statement on how his military experience will help him sort out grooming gangs or help to keep very, very quiet about it. I wonder which he will do.

    It's not complicated:

Less wokeness. Less immigration. Less Green bs. Less tax.

Get on with it, you tossers.

He is a person who believes he is entitled for no other reason than that he wears Union Jack underwear. There has been ages for him to tell us what he is about but alas it seems his about qualification is just me me and me.

I don't think there's enough brain cell combined in Parliament to get this country out of the mess it's in. If they had had any grey matter between them they would have seen all this coming when they nearly ALL decided to lock the country down and pay people to sit at home. Absolute self serving cretins the lot.

Britain ‘FLEECED’ for BILLIONS on ‘EU Army’ as ‘desperate’ Starmer CLINGS to power: Gully Foyle

Published

on

By

Labour’s colossal defeat in the local elections has seen Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer decide the antidote to Labour’s unpopularity is to row back on its manifesto pledges and draw the UK closer to the EU.

With rumours some Labour MPs are pushing for the UK to rejoin in the next five years, Gully Foyle joins Nick Dunning to discuss the benefits Britain has experienced since leaving the EU. These include becoming the world’s fourth largest exporter in 2024, strong service sector exports, trade deals around the world and some promising developments in its tech sector.

Starmer stands accused of allowing the EU to ‘fleece’ Britain, and of tying the UK to the bureaucratic bloc through opaque defence procurement schemes and a litany of agreements which future governments may find themselves locked into. Nearly ten years on from the Brexit referendum, Foyle discusses these deals and the extent to which they could resemble the beginning of an EU army, and a subsequent pivot away from the UK’s ‘special relationship’ with America, without the public’s knowledge or consent.

‘So after all the resignations, all the negative briefings, all the talk of Cabinet walk outs not a single one of them had the bottle to confront Starmer to his face?’

The Labour government faces its second day of extreme instability as Keir Starmer remains “in the bunker” despite nearly 100 MPs and several ministers calling for his resignation. Following a series of high-profile departures, including Jess Phillips, rumors are swirling about a potential leadership bid from Ed Miliband to block Wes Streeting. Critics argue that the political deadlock has effectively paralysed the civil service, leaving the country in a state of limbo.
