Do you guys realize that Mexican chorizo is not remotely the same same Spanish chorizo… Raw vs cooked… Mushy like Italian sausage vs hard like salami? You cannot slice Mexican chorizo. They're even spiced differently. Surely Ben knows these facts. I have a Mexican pork chorizo log in my fridge and it's a raw mash of spiced ground pork that you have to cook. Spanish chorizo is actually quite expensive in the US but Mexican chorizo is cheap because they're our neighbors LOL! Amazing avocados too. I got a huge laugh in Germany about authentic Mexican food. Really the Germans that have not been to Mexico or at least America don't know what they talking about we have authentic Mexican food trucks in almost every city and they're amazing. I wish there were more. Please bring more of your food heritage to America! Don't listen to Trump… We love you and your food.

Man, in 6 years Mike hasn't changed a damn thing.

Give him a timed battle and he will always try to do something that shouldn't be possible in the alloted time 🤣

  22. @dominiccrimmings6925

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

I'm confused – if a 15 minute meal, cooked in real time and then the intro and the presentation tasting etc, the vid should be at least 20 mins. How does it work that it's only 8 mins??????

  23. @LednacekZ

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

  30. @greythumbshenanigans559

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

IDGAF, Jamie had the idea and delivered. It shouldn't be stressful to a home cook.

The other two did damn good stressing themselves out and sounds like delivering though.

  31. @greythumbshenanigans559

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

Mike's panic knife skills were beautiful.

  32. @kabbaage

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

Watching the boys cook fairly simple dishes in this, and remembering their 20-minute battle that they did more recently and what they achieved in it, shows you how far they have come since then

  33. @davidcampbell9981

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

Those nachos would turn your stomach to lava.

  34. @NiallBruce9

Mike's Thai chicken is now a household staple for us, make it for my family all the time and it's so good 🙂

  35. @GtsAntoni1

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

It’s not a fifteen minute challenge if a bunch of prep has been done before 😂 Golden oldie.

Jamie, always the sweetheart. Love how he doesnt shy away from spice

  40. @dawn-le4gh

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

they might as well change the title to who can make the spiciest dish in 15 minutes

  41. @alexashton6501

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

ahhhh the era where the battles were more about the food/recipes and less about being complete dicks to each other and memeing "for the lols"…

  42. @JanTheNan

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

Mike did you want to be a chef?

  43. @Lopperopoly

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

As much as I love Jaime’s recipe, every time I use a food processor to blitz onions, they turn into an eye watering purée. Great to impart onion-y flavor, but no chunky salsa.

  44. @gabbys8059

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

And here I am again, going on an ultimate battle marathon.

  45. @CryptidValentine

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

Anyone went back to this video after the 20 minute meals video? They got 5 more minutes in that video but you can really see just how much they’ve learned in 3 years. They keep saying they’re the “normals” but they all do have a lot of skill.

  46. @lisat776

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

Why dont you guys ever use fresh Mexican chorizo? I love both Spanish and Mexican chorizo. Try it!

  47. @brandonwhitaker8468

    December 23, 2023 at 7:08 am

It's interesting coming back and watching these again, I voted in all the polls the first time and now I disagree with myself on practically every single one

The All-American Burger | #BeatMyBurger ep.4

Published

on

All conjured up for Chester See… A soft brioche bun, glazed with maple and finished with bacon crumb holds the all American burger. 100% home-ground beef seasoned with salt and pepper is shaped into a 1/2 pounder, and topped with a duo of molten and oozing Monterey Jack and blue cheese as well as three rashers of crispy streaky bacon. All this is cleverly balanced out by fresh raw red onion rings, oak leaf lettuce and lashings of homemade tangy and sour chive ranch dressing. To hold it together it’s spiked with a skewer, but not any old skewer, one laden with 3 crispy, golden southern fried peppers.
