probably too late, but… bakeapple berry, only places they'll grow afaik is new and old scotland, also called cloudberry, on the cunningham coat of arms, yada yada, you're close by one of the scotlands, they do NOT travel well, so, move… in season.

I love gariguettes, but they don't beat a Maras des bois for me (also, March is a bit early for strawberries in France imho, I usually wait for April/May).
One delicious fruit with a very short season is mirabelle, a tiny plum from Eastern France.

I have problems with orange after carrot, orange and coriander soup at a function I had to pretend to like heated orange has a weird flavour or at least it did in that.

The seed within the fruit can then pass through them?!?! Lmao, who's eating a whole mango? Maybe some biiig animals (elephants?) Would eat it whole and have the seed; but I'd guess most would just nibble around it and discard the seed somewhere.
Chocolate orange lovers must be sectioned?; there goes half the country 😵

You should try Mara des bois variety next.

Today I heard rustling in my lemon tree and then, clunk clunk clunk. From near the top of the tree a lemon 2-3x the size of the rest came tumbling down taking 3 regular sized with it.

Lychees are in season only around June and July here in Taiwan, which is why they are a common association with Dragon Boat Festival which is in two weeks, but they are BOMB!

Bergamot really should be best known for its supporting role in Earl Grey tea. Though I do love the scent of it, so I also appreciate its appearances in cologne, perfumes, and other toiletries.

Not sure you can get this in the UK, but the North American thimbleberry is one of my favourite ‘only picked on a hike whilst in season’ berry. As kids, we’d pick them and pop them on our fingers before eating them. Delicious! 🇨🇦

As someone who grew up in Florida, I always knew you needed to wait until after the first frost for citrus, but I never knew the biological/scientific reason before now! Though that absolutely makes a lot of sense!

"Absorbic acid"…surely they didn't mean *Ascorbic Acid", which would be Vitamin C. No, no. Its an acid that absorbs things. You know…like paper towels.

Mike, I have supported you for years. I thought you have been robbed of wins and badges. But you have impugned the world's greatest fruit, the orange. Whom can I support now?

Really guys?
