I love my black pepper, but between my $50 spice grinder, the plastic grinder the pepper comes in for $3, and my 10Kg mortar and pestle I got for $8 in a charity shop, I think I'm fine

THE SHOW needs to do public service.

Namely, say out loud that the Paris Hilton dish is diabetes death that makes to weigh 200 kg, provide amputations and dramatically shorter life span.

So funny to watch this again and see the "2 yr" stamp on it, while they talk about James coming back for a quick bit. I can't believe it's been so long since he left. They did very well with transitioning him off the channel and into guest bits.

The pan seems like a pan with a spoon rest. I can't think of anything it can do that my pan at home can't? And did they say "storage" is one of the 8 functions?

If you are making good money, setting up your first home and like buying expensive things, then great. You'll maybe get a lifetimes use out of the pan. Otherwise, just buy a good quality pan for less money.

A pepper grinder for $200?!? Pepper is hardly ever the main ingredient. Buy a decent grinder for $50 and spend the rest of the money on, say, ingredients. Nobody's ever died because they had to twist the pepper grinder one more time. And a coffee brewer / alarm clock? I have my alarm clock close to my bed. I make my coffee in the kitchen. Not the other way around. Is there any logic to this contraption? The pan looked nice, but when James noticed there was a curvature then it's basically useless for me. And what material is the handle made of? Could it be put in an oven? This was a train wreck. Over priced garbage. NEXT!

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

The Unicorn Magnum does the exact same thing as the Pepper Cannon, but it's only $60. Definitely go that route instead. No reason to pay $200 lol

  7. @peterthomas5792

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

There are Pepper Cannon clones available for 1/3 the price. Just as good.

  8. @Timlagor

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

Pepper Cannon seems crazy expensive but there are easily that many millionaires for whom the question isn't whether it's worth that much but just whether it's the best available.

The same reason you don't care too much whether something (you're buying one of) costs 10c or 20c

  9. @qazz6209

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

Ridiculously overpriced for a peppermill all you need is a pesto and mortar

  10. @justcallmeavi3255

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

So, the coffee alarm clock is a Teasmade but with fancy lab glass and a wooden cover, woo, here's to overpriced junk nobody needs!

  11. @jesseshell4222

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

200 for a pepper grinder. is absolutely sickening. whoever buys that is a moron

  12. @ethancampbell215

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

James Alastair Currie. The ever reliable catalyst for chaos 😂😂 he summed his return up perfectly 😂😂 “come back, fuck shit up, leave!” 😂😂

  13. @petergerdes1094

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

I presume that whoever wakes up first then goes and makes a normal cup of coffee for the other person in bed with them.

I love Sorted. The group is amazing. The recipes, the cheats and hacks, the interaction between everyone, everything is wonderful. The thing I love the most is the fact that they have been friends for 20+ years. You don't see that too often. At the risk of sounding emotional, it's beautiful to see. I also liked how even though they were going to miss James when he left, they supported him. They always look so happy when he comes back for a video or two. I wish all of them the best in whatever they choose to do and just wanted to say thank you to them all for the difference they make in people's lives and for allowing me to spend time with them. It means more than you know.

  15. @shepshape2585

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

$125 for the Always Pan? I'd rather have another AllClad pan thank you very much.

  16. @shepshape2585

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

To all those people who paid $200 for a pepper mill, I'd like to talk to you about investing in my business. I sell $1 bills for $10. But they're premium $1 bills. No oridinary $1 bills here. I mean, you paid 10 times what you should have paid for a pepper mill, so you should have no problem paying ten times the value for my $1 bills.

  17. @elliemahoney5537

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

Does anyone know what cut of beef that was in the salad?

  18. @TheMNWolf

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

I have reached the point in my life where I want a pepper mill. You don't buy many pepper mills, unless you keep breaking them. In the grand scheme of things, a very small fraction of a fraction of my considerable(y small) wealth goes to a pepper mill. I'm getting the pepper cannon.

  19. @AdamOlymius

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

The Babish mention does not age well

  20. @tammyhinkle5890

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

Ebbers would know what a garlic skape is. (its the shoot from the hard neck garlic that you cut off when growing garlic)

  21. @squimblejibs

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

I really liked the idea of the always pan the first time I saw it… but it’s TINY.. one piece of French toast at a time???

  22. @charlottewallat162

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

More guest appearances from James please!

  23. @sarahoneill2093

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

15:15 Barry, always saying what I’m thinking.

  24. @kamanama3671

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

I wish my only pan had stayed nonstick for me.

  25. @kamanama3671

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

Weight you can adjust pepper grinder?

  26. @ricagambeda

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

Always pan ‘very non-stick’? I wish. Try frying an egg. Instant disaster. Even low heat. ‘Not a fan.’

  27. @briannelson7853

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

    Less James….More Ebbers.

  28. @marthawilson444

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

Great to watch James, but those are super expensive.

  29. @jodyharnish9104

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

I read something in a magazine years ago that really stayed with me. It said that when you consider the value of something, you should think about how often you use it. If James used the pepper cannon every day, all day long, and it saved him from getting a painful wrist later on, he would have a lot more value from it than the average cook.

  30. @JadeNeoma

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

if you want a good pepper grinder just pickup a cheap hand coffee grinder. Those things will have such a high output and the lever they use rather than a wheel gives you more torque

  31. @tore650

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

The coffee clock… I mean, they want £345 for it and it looks so plastic, for that price whyyy isn't it brushed aluminum or something… it screeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaams plastic…

  32. @dansmusic13

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

    Come back James please. 🥰

  33. @andy70d35

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

£345 for a crap coffee maker for one person. $199 for a pepper grinder, geez some people have more money than sense, when you see these two items.
And WTF does Paris Hilton know about cooking, that looks and sounds disgusting.

  34. @ksierra4444

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

My black and decker can make 8 cups of coffee on a timer so it's ready when I wake up and cost $40. My fridge does a great job of keeping milk cold and all my other food and drink. It came with our house. That coffee maker was ridiculous!

  35. @patricksechowski2134

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

    Miss this chef.

  36. @katiemorrill4318

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

I just want to point out, mostly for the coffee machine, but I think it applies to all of these; 3000 people my have contributed to that thing, but not all 3000 would spend $345 on that machine.

  37. @beritbranch2436

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

    Agree!!

  38. @brendaowens2466

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

If that pan is so great, then come back to see me with that pan a year later. Then you can really show me if it “really” held up. And it had better have been used.

  39. @brendaowens2466

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

What you have here is grown up toys for adults to play with. A little expensive too.

  40. @TheMellowGrenade

    December 23, 2023 at 12:01 am

Those Cofee Machine alarm clocks have been around at least since the 80's. i remember my parents having one when i was a kid. the alarm on it sounded horrendous
