Lots of eagle eyed viewers have pointed out this video contains a certain James Currie, Mike’s nan’s knitwear, and Barry when he used to get haircuts – needless to say, this video was shot over the course of a few months to fit in with various Covid restrictions and make sure everyone involved was as safe as possible! Unfortunately Barry’s long hair will return on Wednesday’s video!!

It's crazy how much different the olive orchard looks in Greece compared to California. The trees themselves too, the ones I have picked from looked more like willows. Same type of leaf though, very cool.

Totally disagree with James' verdict. Ebbers went straight (?) down the obvious savoury route for olives – Barry, on the other hand took this ingredient in a direction quite new to the vast majority of us, expanding it's use and versatility. – and he did it all without the prop of a ridiculous and unnecessary wooden spoon.
For shame, James! Despite all your pretensions, you cast your personal honour aside to maintain the closed-shop mentality that only Chefs have the authority in the kitchen…
(And to think I used to have so much time for Gingers…) 😉

OK, love the channel but as an actual farmer I'm getting really sick of your climate change propaganda. The greatest threat to production is the WEF and local government. These farmers are hand picked shills for the NWO

I love this series of showcasing regional ingredients, farmers and ingredients! As a South American viewer, I would love to see some latin american ingredients (perhaps some that are commonly used in the UK to keep in line with the majority of viewers)? 😊

I've eaten tar ice cream and spruce tip ice cream in some Finnish restaurants and both are some of my absolute favourite flavours (sadly hard to get a hold of in suoermarkets even up here in the north) so I honestly don't think Barry's olive ice cream here sounds bad at all! Especially with the whole rest of the sundae too.
