Over thinking it, tacos would have stole the prize here, meat, tortilla, onion, cilantro, salsa

Never seen sausage in a jar that's pretentious

Something I'm noticing (I might be wrong) is that Mike is really into sweet cooking, which is something that the lads don't often do.
I wish he could be allowed to do it more

I barely eat cauliflower, but I REALLY wanted to try Barry's dish this go round.

It definitely pisses me off that Ben always finds a way to shit on Jamie no matter what he does, while Barry can absolutely do no wrong in his eyes. Mike is neither here nor there but he's been robbed too. I don't trust Ben's decision and wish other people from the food team could judge, because fair, Ben is not.

this format makes no sense to me. having mike tell us that they tried these recipes before and came up with them together with chefs makes it just pointless to watch. it should rather be everybody getting the same 5 ingredients and having to come up with something right there. chaos and creativity and surprising successes is what i want to see.

  11. @richardcoleman3425

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Barry was clearly the winner with his three uses of one vegetable as well as the multiple hacks, so Ben WAS right! As for Mike's wonderful dessert – How could it be improved? Obviously with a sprinkle of chocolate vermicelli and some squirty cream on top! 😉

  12. @TheDarlingLuna

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

An episode where they get like a premade sandwich and need to convert it into a multi-purpose meal would be interesting

The mistreatment of Mike on this show 😭😭😭🥺

  16. @daniwalmsley611

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Mike made the best 5 ingredients dish, barry and jamie made dish out of 5 ingredients

  17. @aldiin2227

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

i really liked mikes but i think either candying the lemon peel to add a bit of crunch as well could've been a nice touch and avoids only a small part of the lemon being used because otherwise it would've been better to use another ingredient and counteracting the sweetness with an even more bitter or salted chocolate

  18. @CaptainBlueSmoke

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

This is the first time I love all three dishes. But Jamie's really has my mouth watering. Baz with the cauliflower/cheese combo and Mike's tofu dessert with drunk cherries.

  19. @sarahdipasquale6350

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

I'm tired of people sleeping on "sweets" as easy. You could sneeze and pinterest will give you cauliflower recipes. Actually making a descent dessert isn't something easy

  20. @Ca55per

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

I would "snuggles" Barry the most… He's my #1… but, I am still open minded. Grats and good job!

This photo iritates the hell out of me, remove Barry it would be much better

  23. @ethancampbell215

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Sassy Barry is the best version of Barry, comes out once in a blue moon and normally directed at Jamie, I know it’s all harmless banter between them but seems like Jamie does sort of pick on Baz a bit so it’s good to see him stand up for himself by being bitchy 😂😂

  24. @ethancampbell215

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

I know they were limited to 5 ingredients in this video but why did Barry not use couscous instead, it was smart to get 3 uses from the cauliflower so became his ‘hero’ ingredient but surely a more exciting food like sausage or something would’ve been better. If I was doing this challenge I would’ve chosen something like a sausage or cut of beef for instance and celebrated that because it’s so much more exciting than a cauliflower, and then picked ingredients with multiple uses around it like tomatoes which can be roasted and make a sauce, just my thinking because I’d rather eat a dish that celebrates a cut of meat rather than a cauliflower, but he did execute the dish well and picked ingredients well, a single ingredient made of 2/3 ingredients feels like a bit of a cheat but by definition his ciabatta loaf was a single ingredient 👏🏻

  25. @ethancampbell215

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

No Ebbers Jamie’s mantra isn’t offending the Italians 1:30 😂😂 his mantra is offending as many different people as possible he’s probably on a hit list in some places I wouldn’t recommend he goes anywhere near Asia the amount of times he’s butchered the different cuisines there 😂😂

  26. @glossaria2

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Is silken tofu whippable? The only thing missing for me visually from that dessert was a nice whipped topping. I'm sure it tasted amazing, but it looked kind of… goopy.

  27. @GrizzledBear7

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

    Mike was robbed. Again.

  28. @ennitSC

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Def not the right winner. Sorry but NOBODY is going to take out olives of olive bread at home. So it doesnt fit the brief in that sense

  29. @debbiew.7716

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Mike should have won for using something he learned from another video and making something the viewers will use. Sorry Ebbers, did not get your thinking on this one:)

  30. @Black_Ryze

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

I MISS chef vs chef so since we're short a chef now…lets start bringing in guest chefs and having guest chef companion + the normals + a member or two of the food team to blind taste test to judge. You talk about the food team so much- its time to bring them on camera.

  31. @Crazetex

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

i feel like jaime absolutely won within the brief, even if barry's was a little tastier!

  32. @garyherbert319

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Hang on! "The one the food team wrote". So you mean the normals don't create their own dishes?

  33. @johnsmit3573

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Mike just said you all tried these recipes before the show. That breaks my whole paradigm of this show. I hate it now.

  34. @abigailgerlach5443

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Mike wins! I don't even like tofu! I'd eat that in a heartbeat!

  35. @teddiandersson6744

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

What do they mean by cooking team? Are these not their recipies?

  36. @patmaurer8541

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Lol! I thought Jamie called it "our psychic app"–when you're out of ideas, it knows what you want to eat! 😀

  37. @crazzzy_katt663

    December 19, 2023 at 11:14 pm

Idea: cook something amazing, unlimited time limit on making it BUT a time limit of equipment – example, 10 mins for knife, grater, 45 on oven etc. Love to see that!

The All-American Burger | #BeatMyBurger ep.4

Published

on

All conjured up for Chester See… A soft brioche bun, glazed with maple and finished with bacon crumb holds the all American burger. 100% home-ground beef seasoned with salt and pepper is shaped into a 1/2 pounder, and topped with a duo of molten and oozing Monterey Jack and blue cheese as well as three rashers of crispy streaky bacon. All this is cleverly balanced out by fresh raw red onion rings, oak leaf lettuce and lashings of homemade tangy and sour chive ranch dressing. To hold it together it’s spiked with a skewer, but not any old skewer, one laden with 3 crispy, golden southern fried peppers.
