Something I'm noticing (I might be wrong) is that Mike is really into sweet cooking, which is something that the lads don't often do.
I wish he could be allowed to do it more

It definitely pisses me off that Ben always finds a way to shit on Jamie no matter what he does, while Barry can absolutely do no wrong in his eyes. Mike is neither here nor there but he's been robbed too. I don't trust Ben's decision and wish other people from the food team could judge, because fair, Ben is not.

this format makes no sense to me. having mike tell us that they tried these recipes before and came up with them together with chefs makes it just pointless to watch. it should rather be everybody getting the same 5 ingredients and having to come up with something right there. chaos and creativity and surprising successes is what i want to see.

Barry was clearly the winner with his three uses of one vegetable as well as the multiple hacks, so Ben WAS right! As for Mike's wonderful dessert – How could it be improved? Obviously with a sprinkle of chocolate vermicelli and some squirty cream on top! 😉

i really liked mikes but i think either candying the lemon peel to add a bit of crunch as well could've been a nice touch and avoids only a small part of the lemon being used because otherwise it would've been better to use another ingredient and counteracting the sweetness with an even more bitter or salted chocolate

This is the first time I love all three dishes. But Jamie's really has my mouth watering. Baz with the cauliflower/cheese combo and Mike's tofu dessert with drunk cherries.

I'm tired of people sleeping on "sweets" as easy. You could sneeze and pinterest will give you cauliflower recipes. Actually making a descent dessert isn't something easy

Sassy Barry is the best version of Barry, comes out once in a blue moon and normally directed at Jamie, I know it’s all harmless banter between them but seems like Jamie does sort of pick on Baz a bit so it’s good to see him stand up for himself by being bitchy 😂😂

I know they were limited to 5 ingredients in this video but why did Barry not use couscous instead, it was smart to get 3 uses from the cauliflower so became his ‘hero’ ingredient but surely a more exciting food like sausage or something would’ve been better. If I was doing this challenge I would’ve chosen something like a sausage or cut of beef for instance and celebrated that because it’s so much more exciting than a cauliflower, and then picked ingredients with multiple uses around it like tomatoes which can be roasted and make a sauce, just my thinking because I’d rather eat a dish that celebrates a cut of meat rather than a cauliflower, but he did execute the dish well and picked ingredients well, a single ingredient made of 2/3 ingredients feels like a bit of a cheat but by definition his ciabatta loaf was a single ingredient 👏🏻

No Ebbers Jamie’s mantra isn’t offending the Italians 1:30 😂😂 his mantra is offending as many different people as possible he’s probably on a hit list in some places I wouldn’t recommend he goes anywhere near Asia the amount of times he’s butchered the different cuisines there 😂😂

Is silken tofu whippable? The only thing missing for me visually from that dessert was a nice whipped topping. I'm sure it tasted amazing, but it looked kind of… goopy.

I MISS chef vs chef so since we're short a chef now…lets start bringing in guest chefs and having guest chef companion + the normals + a member or two of the food team to blind taste test to judge. You talk about the food team so much- its time to bring them on camera.

Idea: cook something amazing, unlimited time limit on making it BUT a time limit of equipment – example, 10 mins for knife, grater, 45 on oven etc. Love to see that!
