I think it would be interesting if you each cooked a favorite recipe from your families geographic or ethnic heritage. Grandmother's treasures baked treats, Dad's famous stew…great aunt's fudge?

This is my number one favorite way 2 prepare salmon. Looks great, easy 2 prepare and tastes out of this world. Mike has my vote.

Mike is a natural leader. He always takes that role when it is required.

Mike is always the one to step up first for leadership, but i think it's Jaimie who always ends up taking control.

Ebbers being absent but still getting the guys to prepare him a glorified fish pie for his lunch is so on brand for him 😂😂 he is probably the most simple person to apply general characteristics to because he’s very consistent with promoting his ethos😂
•Food waste is a cardinal sin
•Celery is one of the best foods ever
•Fish pie should be prepared at any possible opportunity

:Mike immediately took control which is great to have on a time crunch, Jamie from here 8:23 directing every layer with book in hand and then both Mike and Barry ready and immediately following through with Jamie's orders was a beautiful moment of teamwork. I think everyone deserved a teamwork badge at the least … and the bit of faffing was amusing for the video.

That looks AMAZING! Bravo to Mike for his leadership!

The fact that it was exactly what it should have been is amazing, given that there was no picture and they had never made it before, AND they had a time limit. (Although we all know that's what makes them so amusing.) Practice is what aesthetics come out of, so I didn't think the criticism was valid on the pastry. Yes, of course they get the badge!

  28. @FilmotronCity

    December 19, 2023 at 10:12 pm

Pilaf, pulao and Pilau are the same thing guys.

  29. @rebeccaconlon9743

    December 19, 2023 at 10:12 pm

So they should have cooked the salmon prior to putting it into the pastry?

  30. @ringustfang

    December 19, 2023 at 10:12 pm

as a chef with slight anxiety problems that book would kill me

This cookbook sounds like my cookbook i write new/cool recipes and tricks i learn from other chefs at work in. when people try and work for it they just end up confused.

  37. @Kamila_Koziol

    December 19, 2023 at 10:12 pm

As a Pole, yeah, that looks like kulebiak. I think it's better with a shortcrust pastry but everything is better with it. Good work guys. I know know frustrating old "recipes" can be.

  38. @elizabethbonnie366

    December 19, 2023 at 10:12 pm

Soooo…. What exactly did Jamie do??? Seems to me at the end Jamie was reading instructions and Mike and Barry were actually doing everything… 🤣
