Donald Trump blocked from Maine presidential ballot in 2024 | BBC News
The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.
“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.
In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.
He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.
Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.
Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.
The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.
It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.
The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.
Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.
Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.
President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

DEAR AMERICAN BROTHERS!
I emphasize that former US President Donald Trump is more dangerous to the US and world peace than Putin and Xi Jinping combined. For inciting the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, the world's temple of democracy, for inciting an internal attack on American legislators, Trump should be tried in a criminal court, sentenced to 10 years in prison and deprived of the right to hold public office for life.
The US Supreme Court must deprive Donlad Trump of the right to run again in the 2024 presidential elections due to the threat to US national security.
Let me remind you, dear American brothers, a few facts from the political life of Adolf Hitler:
1. In 1919, as an agitator, instigator and informer, Hitler joined the DAP – where in 1921 he was elected its leader and changed its name to NSDAP. The party's political program was primitive, but clearly anti-democratic, aggressive and anti-Semitic and should have been the reason for the banning of the party in the Waimar Republic. Nobody did anything about this threat!
2. In 1923, Hitler, inspired by General Ludendorf, takes part in the Munich Putsch and carries out an armed attack on the democratic authorities, for which he should have received the death penalty. What happened? The criminal court sentenced Hitler to only five years in prison, he sat in a comfortable cell with his companion Rudolf Hess, and he left prison for good behavior after just over a year.
3. In prison, Hitler wrote "Mein Kampf" in which he spreads hatred and anti-Semitism, and clearly declares that Germany must use military force to wash away the "shame of the Versailles Agreement" and expand its "living space" in the East. Hitler openly announces that when he gains power he will start a war. Nobody does anything about it.
4. In 1932, Hitler wins the elections to the Reichstag, leading politicians warn the world against the intolerance and aggressive policy of Hitler and the NSDAP, and yet President von Hindenburg appoints him Chancellor of the Weimar Republic. And what does Hitler do? On February 27, the Nazis set fire to the Reichstag, blamed it on a handicapped young Dutchman, allegedly a communist, and in March 1933 they held the fourth elections to the Reichstag, which were rigged under the control of Goering's police and SA militants, and the NSDAP won 80% of the seats.
Nobody does anything about it. If the armies of France, the UK and the USA had intervened in Germany in 1933 because the NSDAP had broken the provisions of the Treaty of Versailles, Hitler and his leaders would have been arrested, executed, and the world would have avoided World War II.
5. In 1934, Hitler declared himself dictator and took over all power. He ordered the opposition to be imprisoned in concentration camps, where some of them were murdered. Later there were the anti-Semitic Nuremberg Laws, the takeover of the Ruhr area, the annexation of Austria, the occupation of Czechoslovakia and finally on September 1, 1939, the brutal attack on Poland and the unleashing of the hell of World War II. Death of 70 million victims, Holocaust, death camps…
Unfortunately, no one did anything about this fact, and it was enough to shoot Hitler in 1923.
Democracy in Germany has died due to inaction.
It is better to prevent evil than to fight it once it grows stronger.
Brothers, you know your former president. He is a man without moral principles, a narcissist, a megalomaniac, a sexist, a fraud and a criminal.
You know about Trump's scandal at the Ritz with underage girls after the Miss Universe Final. Putin has recordings of this orgy, he is not blackmailing Trump. He only told him: "Mr. President, please trust me, the world will never see this recording."
After all, if Trump wins the presidential election and sides with dictators Putin and Xi Jinping, World War III will break out.
Hell on earth will be worse than in 1939-1945.
Don't hesitate, don't be afraid, make decisions that are as consistent with the law and your conscience as possible.

You know Maine's SoS is not doing this of her own accord. She's doing the dirty work of some other politicians in hopes that she'd be given some kind of reward.
