Key findings include an increase in technology budgets, with 84% of respondents expecting increases compared to 77% last year, and a shift toward the ‘ecosystem sale’ where buyers seek integrated solutions rather than siloed technology. The speakers also address a disconnect between adviser value propositions and buyer needs, noting that while many advisers lead with cost savings, buyers actually prioritize vendor vetting, implementation support, and faster decision-making. The session concludes with an overview of two new AI maturity models—one for buyers and one for technology advisers—to help benchmark readiness and adoption. The report also highlights that vendor loyalty is at a historic low, with 84% of buyers open to switching vendors at renewal, creating an opportunity for advisers to establish repeatable renewal processes.
