Has no one else noticed that she said that it 12.46 seconds per cube at 12:46? What a coincidence! 😄

He isn't the world champion in Rubik's cube. He is the world champion in solving the Rubik's cube in 24 hours. Big difference.

Yoooo props to him for saying how he learned; instead of the good ole, “I use linear algebra to solve it” although, learning the steps to when you need to use it is still a great memory talent. I’ve finally learned how to solo solve, and it took me 2 weeks to learn. Even with that it takes me an hour, So this is still an amazing accomplishment.

Published

A massive fire that tore through a shopping centre in Pakistan’s largest city, Karachi, has killed 21 people, including a firefighter, and rescuers are racing to find dozens more still missing.

It took firefighters more than 24 hours to put out the blaze in Gul Plaza that started on Saturday night. The building housed 1,200 stores and spanned 8,000 sq m (86,111 sq ft).

Parts of the building have collapsed, with officials saying the debris and lack of ventilation were hampering rescue efforts.

“Almost the entire building was already engulfed in flames”, by the time rescuers arrived at the site on Saturday night, local emergency services said.

A train driver has been killed and at least 37 people injured, five seriously, after a commuter train derailed and crashed near Barcelona, two days after a deadly two-train collision in southern Spain.

According to local officials, the Rodalies train collided with a retaining wall which fell on to the track between Gelida and Sant SadurnĂ.

The incident occurred as heavy storms battered north-eastern Spain, with coastal areas in the east and north-west of Spain on high alert because of the weather.

Meanwhile, another train on the Barcelona commuter network also derailed on Tuesday.

China hits growth goal after exports defy US tariffs | BBC News

Published

on

China said its economy expanded by 5% last year, meeting Beijing’s official target as a record trade surplus boosted growth.

The world’s second-largest economy reached its goal despite growth slowing to 4.5% in the final three months of 2025.

China’s past year has been marked by struggles to boost domestic spending, a prolonged property crisis and turmoil caused by US President Donald Trump’s tariff policies.

Experts said the figures point to a “two-speed economy”, with manufacturing and exports propping up expansion while people are still spending cautiously and the real estate market continues to weigh on the country.
