The green lipped mussels at my supermarket come frozen and uncooked. How long do I cook these before the oven step?

  18. @WaltzingAustralia

"Rockefeller style" would refer to oysters Rockefeller, invented at Antoine's in New Orleans in 1899 by Jules Alciatore, son of the restaurant's founder, Antoine Alciatore. They were so called because they were rich and covered in green. The recipe is still a closely guarded secret, but it is often imitated.

I had a dream about Ben during my otherwise calm night of sleep. It was a peculiar dream, I must say. I was on my way to work and there was a huge problem with all the commuter trains. For some reason, all the trains looked like Harry Potter trains. Ben was there and tried to solve my train problem, but as you might understand, he didn’t succeed. We ended up taking a train (that worked?!) to his place and snogged instead. Mike showed up. He was naked and spoke a very strange language. I woke up and was very confused.

  27. @Zhandrmyr

    January 25, 2024 at 3:15 am

I noticed a lemon and it reminds me of a very useful technique. You use tongs, and with half a lemon, you set it face down, put that half lemon between the tongs. Then you hold them with one hand on each end, then squeeze it out. it could use for 1 to 3 times at most, but it helps without accidentally gripping the lemon too hard and to find yourself not feeling it for a moment or two lol.

I am very disappointed, there were no puns in the video. 🙁

I remember Italians believe that cheese and seafood do not mix. But I've had mussels prepared like this, i.e. baked with cheese on top, and it was very delicious. Now I'm curious how the other one taste.

For the white wine substitution, can use veg stock, or half veg stock, half apple juice. Or white grape juice with a little apple cider vinegar. Lots of sub options
