Ube puree
Leche flan
Sweetened jackfruit strips
Rice crispies
Coconut strips
Sweetened red beans
Sweetened banana slices
Evaporated milk
1 teaspoon of sugar
Gelatin slices
tapioca pearls

A yam plant/tuber is very much different from a sweet potato.
Since you are in the UK, it is always safe to assume that there is no real ube sold there. Most like likely, you were sold purple sweet potatoes instead.
Ube is hard to propagate and mass produce, even here in the Philippines.
NOTE: if it tastes like sweet potato, then it is a sweet potato

Honesty using beans & legumes in a sweet application is very common in all parts of Asia. Vietnam, Japan, Philippines, you name it, they probably got a dessert with beans
