Barry's gingerbread man reminds me of all of the messed up Christmas cookies I have made over the years. Last year I tried to recreate several of the iconic deaths of Game of Thrones for my gingerbread house.

That is the weirdest gingerbread dough I have ever seen, sorry Sorted. I guess each country has it's own version of gingerbread, because our looks nothing like that it is much darker in colour. Also when we make gingerbread at home we always let the dough rest outside for at least 24 hours before using it.

tip for the golden syrup. I normally boil a kettle and dip the spoon in boiling water first. The syrup just slides off.
