So very wrong on every level. It's melted chocolate! No coconut! No raw eggs (pregnant and children). Do it properly or not at all!

I’ve made this with my mother since I was a child. Now I help her make it & keep the tradition going. We use colored mini marshmallows & walnuts in ours & it’s called Stain Glass Windows. We make them & give them out along with other assortments of cookies at Christmas time. 🎅🏻 🎄

Nah. Instead of pistachios (why do you guys go that way all the time, anyway? Are they particularly inexpensive?), needs hazlenuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds….maybe some popped amaranth for the outside coating…..

This is a bit like Lolly Cake (as we call it in NZ!) 🙂
Crushed Arrowroot biscuits mixed with condensed milk, butter and chopped up Fruit Puff lollies, then moulded into the log shape, rolled in desiccated coconut and set in the fridge! Love no bake recipes and Lolly Cake is a NZ classic!
