The Tories are masters of rhetorically pretending they are doing something while doing the complete opposite. They promised to cut immigration. They talk tough about "the small boats" while actually pursuing record immigration. Similarly during lockdown they pretended they were giving people money in order to keep them above water – in actuality they ended up giving 700 million to the richest segment of the population. They don't deserve our votes. And nor do Labour. Vote SDP. Vote for a party that actually reflects your values.

Who could believe a proven liar like Boris. Investigation was fair. He has ruined a great country with his lies and backhanders. He should be banned from politics

If you want to restore faith in politics your Vito ulez and 15 min city’s that ignore public opinion, ignore consultation that are hidden in txt that fail k mark requirements in clear txt and when people do vote , people like kahn and havering council blocking 75% of road traffic without any public say should be banned. Ulez will hit the poor, the single income families, the single parent , the retired, the self employed, and absolutely no one want pay per mile policy the list goes on and on , no one wants this so stop it now

Boris deserves criticism, but Starmer more so, as the police were forced by the Labour PCC to drop Beergate charges. No politician can be trusted.

Don't give the slightest excuse for what they did. There's no "unique"circumstance or anything else to excuse it.
You would have to have an IQ below 10 to not recognise the rules that clearly defined this action as completely unaccapable at the time. Stop excusing these people . Stop being so bloody polite about what they've been accused of.
People had loved ones BURIED and never got to go to the funeral.
Loved ones DIED alone in hospital. You couldn't even go into the room in full PPE or behind a screen!!!

ITS DISGRACEFULL, DISGUSTING what they did. Make sure you represent those of us who feel this way.

Our Government is a total waste of space , as are the opposition parties.
BORIS is a perpetual LIAR, he is a Eugenecist and his father also, plus their very good Friend Bill Gates the murderer. To be honest there is only one man I would think I would rescue from the Houses of Parliament if it was to catch fire, and that is Sir Desmond Swayne. The rest can sit there doing nothing as usual.

Sunak's promises? Debt – no difference (in fact rising) small boats? More money paid for some future processing in France – that can only help Labour, Lower interest rates and lower inflation? Interest rates up, and that leads to more inflation and OOPS! inflation up in the last quarter! More jobs? Nope no hope unless the restrictions for lower paid workers migrations! NHS waiting lists lowered? Nope they are increasing exponentially – so where has Sunak even started to make headway?

It shows nothing of the sort, my mother is an ex magistrate and she is apoplectic with rage over it as it isn't a court of law, its a farcical biased group of individuals whom have wanted Boris out ever since he became PM, even before he became one officially with the 2019 election [ don't forget, John Major the Euro loving TINO whom prorogued the Government for 9 months! In order to prevent being challenged over what he was about to do, give our sovereignty away completely and be tied to the EU lock stock and barrel under the Maastrict treaty along with Gina Miller taking Boris to court over a 5 day proroguing of Government over the Brexit deal – both remainers and one a traitor to our country and also the shenanigans of them sitting on the speaker and taking the black rod around the same time in Parliament ]. She says if that's our Judiciary system then its dead, Harriet Harmon is not only prejudiced to start with, she herself has had 6 "fixed penalty" notices for speeding, but of course she is left wing so its okay for her – never mind her connections to PI. Also the word "recklessly" isn't in Hansard, they are making up rules to suit themselves and changing our system as well. That picture with the TV in it and them having sandwiches and coke, is NOT a party, its a working lunch in a place of work in a Government building which also doubles as place of residence for the PM and his family but it is like rabbit warren in there, people coming and going all the time so I doubt very much it was easy to "socially distance" [ the red box also contains official private documents for the PM] , also Rishi is in the picture standing about 3 metres apart from Boris, and these photos were taken by an official Downing Street photographer not a press agent, so why did they sell them to the media? I tell you why – because someone bribed them that's why in order to remove Boris because WEF wanted Rishi. This just makes a mockery of our election system, what is the point of us going to the Ballot box when they can just replace the leader of the party that wins the majority with someone THEY want, because they are not getting their own way.

Boris was surrounded by Marxists, 5th columnists within his party [ and higher up with the SAGE woman whom wanted us in lockdown forever and never socialising again ], aside from Jacob Rees-Mogg, the last of the real conservatives, the rest are Whets and Liberals and TINO's, he had the right people and advisors when he was Mayor of London but not in this, his own advisors whom are mentioned in the hearing wanted to "hanging him out to dry" so didn't tell him about their own doubts, if they really had any over the "gatherings" in Number 10. As for the Civil Service well they are a bunch of left wingers too and have been working against the Government since 2010 but even more so after the results of the Brexit [ this is a remainer coup]. I also agree with the comments by @Peter Field when he mentions that the NHS nurses were videoed mucking around due to lack of patients because of the "stay at home protect the NHS" stuff – I remember seeing that and also the Nurse whom could well afford to feed her family on 35K a year getting free Pizza's from volunteer workers on the news, and of course we had Teachers on furlough whom are now striking. It's a major stitch up towards Boris, pure and simple.

Sunak has got his NIP bill through with 29 Tories voting it down…these are actually key tory voters who believe in true Brexit…Brexit has not happened and it is now down to the DUP to prevent power sharing in NI…NI is part of the UK but the Sunak gov seems to think it is still part of the EU…why is this??????????????????????????????

  33. @iangraham9050

    January 17, 2024 at 4:16 pm

The only way to restore politics is by getting rid of politics, politicians and the senior civil servants. Replace them with a government that does what the majority of the people want.

When will former Health Secretary Hancock be raked over the coals? His was a far greater breech of trust and had a far wider and severe impact on the people of Britain than boorish Boris partying with his mates.

Until the career politician is gone nothing will change in parliament because these people only work for themselves, there maybe a few good eggs, but majority are bad

Watch as Will Kensington expresses concern about the state of the UK, arguing that Downing Street is no longer a place of power but has instead become Britain’s most expensive Airbnb.

This comes as Andy Burnham is set to become the UK’s seventh Prime Minister in a decade, with seemingly no one challenging the “King of the North” for the country’s top job.
