Baked Lamb Samosa Recipe – SORTED

Published

on

This popular Indian snack tastes amazing but can traditionally be quite greasy and unhealthy. So SORTED have created a recipe for a baked Samosa instead of fried, with a delicately spiced lamb and pea filling. Tasty both hot or cold these make a great starter or are spot on for a sharing platter.

Please check the measure the turmeric powder you put into the food you show here (in case you attempt to make anything Indian again.) We don't put as much turmeric powder, EVER! Samosas have a particular form as well. Right now you might have as well made Quiche, with some Indian ingredients.

We get long thin rectangles of pastry maybe filo or something like that and we fold it to make like a triangular cone shaped hole to put our filling in and we fold it together to create a triangle shaped samosa and we glue it together with a mixture of flour and water so the shape stays and the pastry sticks to each other

  27. @eyescoldlemonade7

    January 13, 2024 at 8:36 am

Go on google images and search Samosas!

  28. @eyescoldlemonade7

    You guys folded it wrong!!!

recipe for pastry looks good. I'm not too sure about the filling, when you put spices like turmeric and garam masala in a curry, you have to get the 'tarka' right to get the most out of them.
