I see Barry had his arm resting on the hob during the tasting. Just as well it was all turned off.

Idk why but Barry just annoys me so obnoxious says 10 but all he did was open a can and chop up some bacon

  6. @disintegratesintobinary655

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

"Bacon, onion, garlic, snails" "base for a really good carbonara" 🤨

You can always rely on Jamie to screw it up. Destroys a potato tortilla.

I think Barry's card should change intelligence to Common Sense

I truly do like Ben, but he gives me the vibes of the kid in the group project who decides halfway through the project that he doesn’t like the direction, does the project himself, and then tells the teacher no one helped him

  10. @BobaPhettamine

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

I like how long it took after putting milk into snails for Jamie to realise he was making snail porridge 🤣

  11. @maluatuavene9921

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

Jamie needs to fo between the two chefs and Mike needs to finish. That way Jamie's damage can be mitigated and Mike can plate up while he's having his inevitable meltdown.

  12. @Molikai

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

It's telling that when Ben arrived it was not 'What was HE attempting' and instead became, 'What Can I make with what he did?'

Jamie "what do you mean it doesn't matter where I am in the order? what did I do?"

also Jamie "Fuck you Ebbers and your vegetables your not my real dad"

  16. @jugglerjim01

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

I like how Ben looked straight at Jamie when James said the omelette was burnt 😂😂😂

  17. @philoctetes_wordsworth

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

9:00 I do not understand why Mike is not completing the broccolini wrapping. This is extremely frustrating.

  18. @ethancampbell215

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

Poor Ebbers 😂😂 tries to help Jamie out in a scenario where there is no communication and making his life easy for the typical Spafford move of making his life as difficult as possible 😂😂

  19. @ethancampbell215

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

We all owe Barry Taylor, probably the most normal of all people, for coming up with the idea of Pass It On 😂😂 there’s no doubt it’s been a resounding success as a concept and to think it literally came from a brainstorm session for content ideas to revitalise and increase outreach for the channel is incredible. I personally found sorted through guest appearances on the old Sidemen cooking videos and have since converted from a Sidemen supporter to an avid Sorted member ❤

  20. @ethancampbell215

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

Jamie is a very adequate normal cook, but there’s no denying that he swings between challenging a professional chef to being the most normal of normals ever 😂😂 never change Jamie Spafford, never change

  21. @ethancampbell215

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

This video proves the saying too many chefs spoil the broth, a simple snail porridge would have been lovey, but forcing each cook to use an ingredient creates too many components to what is just a simple lovely dish. It’s often the theory that less is more and this concept required more and more, although James’ palette is amazing because not tasting truffle and adding it elsewhere to ensure the brief is met is phenomenal, how he could taste a missing ingredient amongst a jumble of different flavours shows his tongue is amazing 😂😂 it’s always nice to see James in his element and I’m genuinely surprised he didn’t take the opportunity to make an adult ‘happy ending’ joke at the beginning, his ‘real job’ has changed him 😢😂

  22. @ethancampbell215

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

Having the chefs involved often saves the end dish, because they move at 10x the speed of the normals and get a lot more done because they have to rack their brains finding a solution to the carnage, but it almost seems like the chefs almost ‘hold the normals back’ in a backwards sort of way, and vice versa of course 😂😂 the chefs have to restrain themselves from being Uber cheffy in their approach because the normals will not understand, but most of these dishes need a cheffy touch to save them from being carnage, imagine a chefs Pass It On with Ebbers, James, Kush and Poppy; I think it would be amazing seeing how they all collaborate their ideas with better skills and more ideas, it could either be the best video on the channel, or it could be like watching a normals only PIO, Poppy would force potatoes into the dish because she has to, Ben would stress if he goes 3/4 because of all the different components the chefs have added and would go into meltdown having to plate it all up, James would shit on everything the chefs have already done and make his own dish in 12 minutes 😂😂 and Kush would literally follow what has been started or create a wonderful base which the others will no doubt ruin by being too complicated 😂😂 Kush would be the saviour, the ‘anti-Barry’, he’d just get on and do what he’s told to, and probably use Smash because we always seem to see him using Smash or Gravy Granules when he’s making Pick the Premium dishes for the normals, not saying there’s anything wrong with that but when one of the guys talks about Kush I can’t help but think about him having cupboards worth of gravy granules because you’ll never know when you need them as a thickener for a sauce, or just a fantastic Bisto gravy for a roast chicken Sunday roast is fantastic, and if a form of beef has been sweated down, like beef mince for a cottage pie, taking those beef juices and adding them into gravy is honestly something I swear by, beefy gravy and Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire puddings are the best thing on a roast, I could just eat a plate of yorkies and beefy gravy. Would definitely recommend it’s easily a solid 95/10 you can’t go wrong, and if you make the gravy nice and thick you can fill the puddings with it and sprinkle over some stuffing crumbs or pigs in blankets at Christmas, probably the only good thing about Christmas in my house I’m literally 21 years old and when I tell people I look forward to Christmas it’s for that reason. The gifts are lovely, seeing family is great, the bank account is crying but beefy gravy Yorkshire puddings with stuffing and pigs is the best thing you will ever eat, I don’t care about Nobu and all that fancy crap just make me that, I’m very easy to please it appears 😂😂

  23. @ethancampbell215

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

This Pass It On idea is actually so difficult thinking about it. Having to use 5 different pretentious ingredients in a challenge where each cook has a lack of communication and therefore has to decipher the clues left by the person before them is ridiculous! They struggle enough with an open brief video where there isn’t a certain dish they’re all contributing to from the first person to the last and so creating a dish based entirely upon the creativity and invention of the first 2/3 people in the kitchen is borderline impossible for this lot! I mean the brunch episode is a prime example of that, started off with a clear plan of action, turned into a classic ‘too many chefs spoil the broth’ and having to shoehorn specific ingredients, or the gadgets Pass It On, makes the task even more difficult 😂😂

I lost sorted for a bit there and now I'm a year behind. Let's see how long it takes me to get all the way back to the present. Started 1 week ago here.

  25. @etienne8110

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

    tbh it looks disgusting.
The base was ok (snail porridge) buth adding camembert, honey, truffles and bacon in it seems more than dubious…

  26. @ianbackman5258

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

You guys should try the Halifax Donair! Halifax Canada that is. It has a spice meat, tomatoes, onions, and a sweet sauce all wrapped up in pita bread. These thing are pretty unique to Halifax, and is a staple for anyone who is at the end of a good pub crawl.

  27. @jasmine6409

    16:08
    James’s “oh really” look
    Ebbers look of amusement
    Jamie’s laughter
    Mike’s shocked face
    Barry’s confidence
= best bit of the video 😂

  28. @jaradsmethers3601

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

I love the message to ebbers at the end

  29. @tom_something

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

15:18 – I'm hearing "tortilla". Is that the British word for what we Americans call a "frittata"? I'm confused.

  30. @ThomasVanhala

  32. @markbolton4142

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

when Jamie say Iam feeling dangerous you know all he is going to do is mess things up

  33. @markbolton4142

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

since you burned a dish its a fail

  34. @StalwartShinobi

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

The fact Barry is casually leaning in the hobs for the tasting makes me wonder how cold the dishes get. Or how much Barry really likes a hot hob.

  35. @fredferd965

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

I'm curious! If they wanted to repeat that recipe, could they do it?

  36. @MarcellaMarcSmith

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

Now I really want berry to just make the carbonara he was hoping they would make because it almost sounded really good but could be horrible.

  39. @goffe2282

    January 6, 2024 at 8:24 am

Look…. putting snail in your carbonara is fine, but onion….. that's almost as bad as cream.
