Hey, did you know (I didn't until I looked up some stuff) that lemongrass can cause miscarriage and random blood not on a woman's usual cycle? I had not had a period in years and drank a bunch of tea that had lemongrass in it and started spotting again. I was quite happy to leave that part of my life behind, I did not want it back. I now avoid lemongrass and no longer have any issues of that sort. If the rest of my life were so easily fixed… well, no one would ever be unhappy again, that is for sure! Not stoned, just not have any reason to be unhappy, that sort… Yea, I know AWKWARD! Barry, Mike, and Jamie have a pass to be awkward until 2025, I just lumped it all into one post… Ben has to muddle along being awkward on his own, I don't think I can cover for him yet, but give me time, I'm good at being wrong

Everyone after barry said it was sour and imbalanced and completely ignored the red pepper he charred that would have added slme sweetness and helped balance it out 😂😂

I liked to watch this challenge a lot, but I don't get why dairy was completely excluded, as it was a vegetarian, not a vegan challenge. A vegan diet excludes all meat and animal products (meat, poultry, fish, seafood, dairy and eggs), whereas a vegetarian diet excludes meat, poultry, fish and seafood.

Call me evil but i really wanted this to fail on the vegetarian technicality when James went in and wanted fish sauce 🤣
Not only would it have failed last minute i think it would have been a good laugh for everyone at the table with a chef screwing up the brief 🤣

the sympathy pepper was a nice addition. like comedic effect. proud of james' sense of humor with that one. could have split it but left it together at the top and split it over the top.

Instead of fish sauce a great vegetarian option would be a fermented porcini paste, pate, powder or sauce to replace that umami dept of flavor.
