    New guy is hellishly annoying….

I hate being that guy but a FEW of these are quite good if you have limited mobility and/or fine motor skills.

The thin waffles made from the old school iron could be cool in desserts 😊

James putting ketchup on his hotdog … I’m so disappointed with him.

Having a wooden jig to stop me from slicing off my fingertips is intriguing. I would be far more likely to use a mandolin.

I was really surprised at the price of the microwave smores maker. I just found it on Amazon for about $15.00.

why is the video quality so bad?

  8. @Adrian13rams

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

It was so disheartening to hear my youtube crush, ebbers, dis on smores as an American. But also as an American that smores gadget is completely useless. This american have been making microwave smores for a decade without that gadget successfully lol ❤❤❤

as for the pull string processor, I got one and I am amazed as it cuts through ginger, I like to ad ginger, garlic, chili and a variation of herbs to soups or stews, kind of, and like to have pieces not a paste, being sight handicapped this thing is working fine for me

Thanks for the effort on this video guys, but thanks to youtube it looks like it's a video from 1998 on realplayer. I think they've forced the video to 320p even though it's 1080p selected because they've got an option 'premium enhanced' for paid customers, even though they've shoved 2 unskiple adverts at the start, and there are multiple in this video. It's basically unwatchable at this point. I'm skipping this video for now.

With the majority of these devices the designers had to come up with a non existent problem, then design a device that will solve the problem, usually badly.

So that butter knife … I think it may be worth 10 bucks for some home cooks struck with certain arthritis conditions … i prefer the ones with the elongated serrated, that curls the butter into a wider swirls.

I forgot how well the bartisian cocktail maker was received. It's probably one of the worst products on there (hard to wash tubes+ wrong alcohol mixing together+ so much more issues).
    Really enjoying these compilation tho

there's really nothing like antique kitchen gadgets to learn why certain foodstuffs used to be so goddamn expensive

  21. @Efreeti

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

Thanks so much for this compilation! Will watch even though I've seen all the videos before. However, it seems very much out of order, and the video quality leaves something to be desired. I hope the bitrate of the uploaded video wasn't intentionally lowered to push Youtube Premium or something.

So for the Egg cooker/toaster thingy….if you’re a student in a dorm room or such..that could prove quit useful.

Love to see James doing experiments with pretentious ingredients

  24. @patti1044

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

Love watching them again. As a cranky "older" person who cooks at home most days – if I have a utensil that works and do not see me using it a couple times a week, not coming home with me. Thanks and best for a wonderful New Year.

  25. @kirarichards4252

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

Instead of the slap chop you should try the same item from pampered chef! It has a piece that prevents the stuff from getting stuck in the top. Much better for everybody!

  26. @potatertot360

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

That tea bag thing was definitely a disability assistive device that they had to try and market to everyone in an effort to fund production.

  27. @alyssanewbill8760

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

“Hope you enjoyed listening in the background while doing chores”
Not me feeling called out while listening to this and the pretentious marathon while cooking/baking all day 😂

  28. @tuckle1718

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

It sounds mean, but sweet babby jebus Ben stacked on. I mean I also stacked on 40kg, but you can notice it in Ebbers. He needs more time spent bathing with Barrry.

watching the pineapple corer video and remembering that this was before they discovered that Barry is allergic to pineapples

i think my fav is the pocket washing machine where they said 'jsut buy a new shirt' as if it did not occur that if you ahve detergent and water… jsut…. hand wash it???

  32. @lefuture

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

Everytime theres a gadget, that i feel its the sorted team user error, i always look up other review of the product to see if it actually work.

What i think you should do if a gadget doesnt work, do a quick check if its a user error or if the gadget actually doesnt work. And clarify it.

Slap chop!! … because granny has arthritis 😂

  35. @keetrandling4530

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

Always wonder why people devise solutions for problems that don't exist!
MAYBE the carrot/zucchini spiralizer/sharpener, but not at that price.

  36. @Ghilesian

    January 5, 2024 at 7:08 pm

So many useless gadgets I can see actually having a use for mobility issues etc. Always thought the way these kinds of products are sold was a little weird? Just seems like such a shame to market them as a vague "convenient for everyone and definitely better/more convenient" so they only get ridiculed when there's actually clear specific situations where they could be very helpful :/

This has one of my favourite lines ever in it: "what's a pound when you're that much of a baller"
