With 44 days to go, it’s worth questioning whether the UK and EU will ever reach a deal? Johnson seems optimistic, insisting that they’re making good progress. The EU says they see no such progress and that they’re prepared for a no-deal Brexit. In this video, we discuss how negotiations are going and why they’ve been struggling to come to an agreement.

Let's look into the near future, no-deal Brexit, chaos of shortages, Scotland declare themselves independence and a republic, N.Ireland won't be able to stay and will join Ireland, Scotland get back into EU, little England will not be able to strike a trade deal with both US nor China in the mist of their trade war and even if it picks a side any deal will take tens of years and it will be a shitty deal. Oh how wonderful is that, all in the name of Brexit.

There won't be a deal. It is by design.

Boris can come back with a deal, and it can say anything, and that gets him out of having to ask for an extension. … That done, any deal he brings back can then be put to a vote in Parliament, and nobody will vote for it, including Boris and the Tories, and that leaves the no deal outcome. Simples! (Possible, but probably not likely)

  13. @fallenshaw5659

    January 3, 2024 at 1:37 am

The problem with all this blah blah talk is that the end result will be the same. The UK will Leave the EU. After that happens The EU has no say so over the UK so they can have a backstop or not have one and the EU won't be able to do a dam thing about it without risking war with the UK who will be joined by the USA immedately, in which case, France would leave the EU and Join the UK and USA. And then the then EU backs off, stripped of 2 of its most powerful members. Their's even a chance Germany would leave as well. Meaning the end of the EU.

But they haven't really done anything. We don't even know what will happen apart for widespread panic shopping. Why don't you ever mention about the incoming offshore tax reforms that the EU are bringing in a Jonson is trying to avoid.

  26. @ruthbashford3176

    January 3, 2024 at 1:37 am

Of course Britain will not get a good deal if it takes no deal off the table. That's common sense. It's pretty obvious that the EU hates Britain but loves its money!

  27. @MERCENARYTAO1

    January 3, 2024 at 1:37 am

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that there are people who think that the smaller, less populated, less rich, importer of goods nation should be able to get everything that they want and that somehow they are the ones with all of the power.

How many people in the UK truly believed that they would be able to walk in and get everything they wanted and not have to make any compromises? I mean look at these comment sections, it’s filled with people that act as if Europe is stopping everything when in reality they are literally just ensuring that the final product is as beneficial for them as possible. Even then they still made compromises with May.

The greatest hurdle the U.K. has to overcome to achieve brexit is brexiteers.
