Anyone else realized that uk went from being a fully pledged European country to try to get a Norway deal, to a swiss deal, to all the way down, not even having the equivalent of a Turkish deal with europe, literally going for a deal that's a no deal by trying to pretend that it's an australian deal.

I mean, no offense but I think its interesting to wonder about this and understand that Turkish citizen will have more right in Europe than British citizen.

  30. @vampireheart1987

If there is no deal, it would be a burden on trade on both sides, but the EU has far less at stake than the UK. The UK is an important trading partner of the EU, no question. But trade with the UK represents only about one-eighth of the EU's total trade. In contrast, trade with the EU represents about half of the UK's total trade. So if anyone should have a strong interest in getting a good deal, it should be the UK, instead it looks like the EU is the only one that wants a deal.

    UK: We want a unicorn.

EU: Those don't exist. You can have a pony.

UK: We say no to your pony.

EU: In that case, it's nothing.

UK: We say no to your nothing.

EU: Does that mean you take the pony?

UK: We say no to your pony.

EU: Do you need time to think about it?

UK: We say no to your extension.

EU: So have you made up your mind?

    UK: We want a unicorn.

I think the rest of Europe is ready to go WTO and Boris can fight his fights domestically.
