I'm a Malaysian and Malaysia is a member of the Commonwealth. The UK has signed numerous treaties, trade and security, with different nations of the Commonwealth. Now, more than ever after Brexit, the UK is dependent on these treaties, and others that they wish to negotiate. If the Commonwealth nations start to believe that the UK will only honour these treaties when it is their interest to do so, not many nations will honour their treaties with the UK. They will only honour them if it is their interest, no matter what these treaties say. Tit for tat. It is but only a step away for the UK to have international pariah status if it does that.

No there is no trade deal, because the EU have ferreted it away to strip it down and create a new one from it and will enforce it on the UK because we havnt got the right people in the job of preventing the EU doing just that. Get Farage and Tice and a few of his Reform Party Regulars involved and they would have walked away long ago. By Doris walking away from deadlines so often he has already proven to the EU he just hasnt got the balls to tell them where to get off, it is all over. Bloody appalling statesmanship and representation.
The EU are stalling for time and the UK are paying for the privilege. I forecast that they will delay it till June before they sit down again and tell us what we cant have. All to avoid the justified fall of the WTO Rules hammer which would have destroyed the French and German Economies. Just to hedge their bets, France and Germany have already been complicit in securing the majority shares of the Covid Recovery fund with little and in some cases nothing left for the other member states.
The EU is set up for the French and German Economies only. Nobody else matters.

Share a thought with the poor Scots, who from now one will replace the EU27 as the sole target of the ERG. I trust, these vile turds will rename themselves the "Scotland Research Group" soon. You didn't seriously think they were going to the dole queue, right? They rake in tax payer money for their "research", which lands in Tory pockets. Plus que cela change….

I find the channel quite ok and appreciate your work. But I have the feeling that you are more and more relying on titles for clickbait. I understand you need to watch for your stats, but you also have to define your target audience. Do you want to target people moved by "gutfeeling" or do you want to be seen as a serious news outlet? You cannot have both…

    Great video, as always!

May I suggest as a possible video topic a comparison breakdown, between the renegotiated EU deal put forward by David Cameron in February 2016 and the actual Brexit deal agreed by the EU and UK?

I think it would make for a very interesting comparison!

Whit my respect the EU want create the more sovereign block less dependent on security and prosperity whit UK neighbor whose own vision of sovereignty seem to be freedom to escape pesky EU rules, will be an important test, Brexit withdrawal including the argument for a soft birder in Ireland, show the potential pitfalls, a trade deal in place won't restore trust overnight but it helps 11 h EU -UK sudden new dawn relation, us they block competition path more cooperation, is best last bad option is all ther is,

Mr Slug PM worming his idea of a fair deal through, betraying leave voters at exactly the same time that he thought he would best get away with it (Christmas Eve). It will probably now cost you your job and your party's position in Parliament Mr Slug. Leave did not vote for a deal. Australia manages fine on WTO terms as do others and so would Britain, given the chance. The one thing the media portrayed had to be avoided at all costs (no deal) was the one thing Britain required to prosper and flourish. Another betrayal by an insulated PM, yawn. Nothing new there then.

What I dont get regarding the "level playing field": does it means that neither the EU nor the UK can increase standards without risking to become uncompetitive? I mean they only agreed to "uphold common hight standards", not to keep up with new legislation.

Man, so I'm one of the last people from the UK who had anything to do with the erasmus program, damn, while I'm glad I still got it, I feel sorry for anyone who comes after me, also I'm wondering how many people would've even dealt with them this year given the whole covid situation too, as I was lucky to have foreign relatives who could get me to where I am now, making the transition pretty painless.

16th October 2020 NO DEAL Activated WTO applies. (END OF TRANSITION , (ALL TREATY STUFF VOID) Sovereign Country Tariffs only on table stuff like that , eu business From this date on is now VOID nothing to do with us. BORIS IS TRYING TO TAKE US BACK UNDER EU THUMB BY BREAKING OARLIAMENTS LAWS AND STEALING OUR SOVEREIGNTY and DEMOCRATIC right to decide if we want a NEW TREATY , if the house of Commons vote for this illegal Treaty by ignoring NO DEAL that was Activated 16th OCTOBER 2020 we need to start a campaign of TREASON AGAINST ALL MPs that vote to support this work of fiction.
