I acutlly like Ben's idea becouse it would've been a fail and couldn't even been served if it was raw so even tho he derailed it a bit it was a much safer play that still tasted great.

What is absolutely baffling to me is that Barry could have already put the oil on and prepare it so that the others could have eventually fried the chicken or heated the oil and leave it to the next person. Yet all of them looked at the chicken already prepared for frying and no one has thought of actually preparing the oil despite it taking arguably so little time lol

You know, they gave him a hard time for it, but Barry saved the entire dish by taking the blue cheese out. blue cheese fish pie would be so gross- and neither Mike nor Barry would've given it a pass for sure.

Sometimes, Ben is such a punchable selfish self-centered prick, its unbelievable xD
He wanted the wings to fail and he actively decided to fail them.
"There wont be enough time to cook them" said with his ~5min and Jamies time remaining…while Jamie cooks them perfectly with like 3minutes of his clock remaining.

Ben couldn't lose, if the chicken had been cooking when he came in for his second turn he could throw it away saying it would be ruined and make a fish pie, if it wasn't cooking he could say it would not cook in time and he had to make a fish pie to save them. You notice that when he came in there was 13 minutes left and Jamie cooked one set of wings in half that time to perfection. The CHEF was not even trying to add to the dish only replace it with his own.
