Ah yes, the 'what the heck have I got in the back of my cupboards??' challenge. Much fun as always.

I play this game all the time. Made a nice chicken Mac and cheese just last week with canned chicken, sliced American cheese(the terrible individually wrapped slices), canned tomato, and sour milk.
Necessity is the mother of invention as they say.

I love the suprprise in everyones faces as they taste the frankenstein creations and they're actually great 🙂

is it just me or the colors in this video are not vibrant 😂

I have found in my tin situations that chili will work for almost any weird tinned food

  9. @Nooticus

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Both dishes without having planned beforehand are SO impressive omg

This could be a Pass it on challenge.
    Mystery tin pass it on

Each member starts their time by opening a tin and have to use it with the dish.

    I love whelk sushi!

  12. @tornagawn

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

    Tinned burgers and whelks! Urgh,

  13. @turbogeschwindigkeit6180

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

If the two were equally as good, I kinda wanna give the win to Jamie since rolling out sushi feels like it deserves a point for technique.

  14. @tickledtoffee2913

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Both their dishes look so good! Jamie's looks fancy and Mike's looks like comfort food.

I think we only have one random tin in the house, and it's corned beef that we bought as a joke to make a retro quiche recipe with truly very very few eggs in it. We came to our senses shortly before dinner time and never ended up making it.

  16. @VialkaDMRVNG

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

id like to see the chefs go through this challenge 😊

Hehe. He said long and black

  18. @Juuxto

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

i think a challenge where the normals get a surprise challenge and no time to think. After they do it they get to do it again with the knowledge they gained during the first round. It would be intresting to see what they gleam from flailing once first.

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Dammit, Mike, stop saying you're making jobbies, you're seriously turning off your Scottish fans, mate…

  20. @lynnejamieson2063

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Mike, please stop saying jobby, it’s another word for poo in Scotland and I know that in some parts of England it’s used or at least understood in that way too.

  21. @Bloonstuff

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

I definitely think Jamie deserved it for making whelks look so palatable. I feel like it was also more out of the box than the lasagna. It felt like an obvious route to me? 🤔

  22. @islandicedragon

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Out of curiosity what were the other tins they had to choose from?

  23. @JW-452

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

The fact used cherries in a tomato sauce and it worked is just kind of crazy.

  24. @sersero

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

For me Jamie is the winner. With those ingredients and than serving something tasty? Well done.

  25. @rocketraccoon77

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

    Jamie should have won

  26. @CallumTheCoolest

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Do English people call it a blow joby?

  27. @uweschroeder

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

If I'm trying that tin can trick with the finger, can I send you the medical bills?

  28. @chuchuchuchia

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Great idea from both! I think Jamie should've batter fried the welks to level them up a bit.

  29. @lnce89

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Love these sort of challenges! Need a chief v chief episode now

  30. @bonkaiblue7906

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

Yea a can of black olives & a can of green beans some diced ham, Brother made a Soup, And it was surprisingly good.

  31. @doomydoes

    December 18, 2023 at 8:27 am

I was thinking seeing the tins tempura whelks on a pineapple salsa with a wasabi mayo would have been pretty tasty. I actually did think a pasta bake with Mikes ingredients too though haha.
