Okay, I'm from Germany and I am confused about that whole Double cream Part.
We have something on stores called "Creme double" but it is thick has more the consistency of Creme fraiche. This looks like regular cream to me. Help me 🙁

Guys! I really want to try things like this but I'm Lactose intolerant and I thought that if I used soya based things it wouldn't turn out as well..

So here I am, sitting in Bavaria and really wondering what you're talking about until I realize that you only meant the Cream itself and that you mean a cream bavarois! o.o
Funny how I never realized that this is somethin is known outside of bavaria considering that is similiar to various other desserts out there .D

Can you guys make a video about egg substitutes in recipes?? i an terribly allergic

  22. @bellathemusicaddict

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Technically, only the cream is from Bavaria, we call it Bayrisch Creme. Never heard of a recipe using the cream like this though, so I wouldn't call it a Bavarian dessert… we usually serve Bayrisch Creme on its own.

  27. @Neliel97

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

You could infuse the milk and cream with tea and make an earl gray bavarois insted if you don't like vanilla (which is very strange) 😀

  28. @shaheenbeeharry9710

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

    It's not pronounced 'ba-voir', it's 'ba-va-roi' :') But does look absolutely gorgeous though 😀

I think Berry was having the time of his life with that extra cream base in the mixing bowl! 😁

  31. @WoodenRoller

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Is gelatin really necessary since there are 5 yolks in there already? Would they be sufficient to set the cream on their own?

  32. @acainokokoro

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

    THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!

  33. @moanowakowski7578

  35. @CoastConcepts

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

this would work with mango right boys?, like maybe blend some mango and run it thought the filling? can't beat strawberry and mango together

  36. @user-ms5fw8bs6f

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

i thought it was a vegan cheesecake,, just me that found 'not-cheesecake' misleading?

  37. @dorlsy123

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

i tried making it and I've fridged it over night but the bacarois doesnt set. Why does that happen and what should i do?

  38. @ourvoices6429

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

What about if you are allergic / don't like nuts, do you suggest anything other food to put in the base?

  39. @lisve

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

The guy with the glasses, where in the UK is he from? I've never heard anyone with a dialect like that! If anyone knows, please let me know 🙂

  40. @Hunny8ee

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Ooooooh, I'd love to try this replacing the strawberries with mango and vanilla with cardamon! maybe sprinkle some desiccated coconut on top too

  41. @chermainemandy

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

what is the ratio to replace leaf gelatine with powder form? where i live, i can hardly get any leaf gelatine.

  42. @tigrezangel

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Since I don't like cheesecake I enjoy this pudding! it is amazingly delicious.

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Charlotte with a unique biscuit base and Bavarian cream:D BRAVO!

  44. @mariongnd

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Be careful, I've heard you say "bavoir" instead of "bavarois", and "bavoir" is "bib" in English.

  45. @vloggingunicornaj5714

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Barry… Why in nearly every recipe, you say "Ooh look at that!". When I'm eating store bought chicken nuggets, you're eating wonderful food. I wish I was you Barry.

  46. @Darumapyon

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

Woah boys. I never hat that much trouble recooking a recipe of your. The custard-y mix just wouldn´t thicken. In the end I had to heat it up  directly in a pan for some more heat.
BUT I added a strawberry-jam layer and made little bavarois muffins. So it´s all fine.

  47. @123bandgeek

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

I was wondering if you could come up with some desserts that have no dairy products or nuts in them. Ever since I found out I had pretty bad food allergies these past few months, pretty much all desserts got cut out because there seems to always have one of those ingredients in them.
I'd love to see what you can come up with!

  48. @mayannrosedelossantos2058

    January 6, 2024 at 9:38 pm

The beauty indeed of most of those delicious food comes from a sprig of mint.. And I wonder why? 😉
