Why put MUSTARD in anything.??. It's poison

That made me laugh, "One of my fav bits of a full english is a hash brown." A hash brown is not part of a full english, that is an american influence. It should be bubble and squeak.

Man this must have been filmed 30 years ago with prices like that.

hello! I really want to see how chefs from different countries would enhance a full English breakfast! You could do a leaderboard type thing like with your 10 minute burgers. I can already imagine what a Japanese, French and Italian chef might do….:)

Just watching some of the older videos in my downtime, and I feel like the editing during the presentation of the dishes was much nicer before… I love the soundtracks and actual panning & zooming rather than the "sexies" as still images in the more current videos.

i'd like to know when did hash browns become part of a full english? i like them but they should be an optional extra, and fried bread should be an actual part of the fry up

The thing about black pudding is… I didn't fall for fromage de tête (head cheese) – French Canadian… nor do I eat any organs or intestines. Although I do like good pate, and sausages come in intestinal casings, so I guess there are some times I will. Lol

One day, if I ever have the money for my dream "family compound" (I want to keep my parents close) I'll invite the lads over to TX to help me lay out the perfect kitchens (yes, plural, one inside and one outside) then I'll see what they cook up in it!

Biggest thing with a hash brown (or tater tots etc…) par boil the taters first, then grate… Gets those starches working in a way that ensures a better crispyness

Really good bacon, eggs and sausage’s will always win in a full English there’s no substitute.

  19. @Mattheq

    January 6, 2024 at 3:32 pm

Yeah, lots of oil when you fry the eggs, then it doesn't go to waste as it all gets soaked up in the fried bread. Leave it out for a bit, even overnight, so it dries and absorbs better

I'd like to see a third dish appear in these, the expensive ingredients cooked in the same way as the cheap ingredients

  21. @yendub

    January 6, 2024 at 3:32 pm

I'd love to see a budget battle where it is chef vs chef and the 3 normal cooks – or a couple of other professional chefs – have to not only pick a winner, but pick the budget vs expensive. Now, the catch is that they are only told to compare them and get asked questions after, if needed. As in they don't know this is a budget battle chef vs chef.

I must question the validity of hash browns in the full English.

I never knew that if you coat the sausage with oil, you get even browning. That was helpful.

7:38 Jamie sassily saying "uh, you say dirt and worm, I just hear flavor" 🤣🤣🤣

Really need to make those hash browns. Looked really good on both dishes.
