James talking about his marmite hot chocolate made me chuckle but I also felt bad for him. Poor guy!

Marmite and apple/ Marmite and jam toast I'm sure a bit too late!

Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches are the best.

I just had an image of james, 5 years old, with the beard, being presented a cucumber sandwich by his mum, nervously awaiting his verdict… before he throws it in her face like a cream pie and says simply "unoriginal"

I realize I'm super late to this, but I love mac'n'cheese and mustard. Would love to see what y'all do with this!

When I was a child, I used to eat peanut butter, jelly, ketchup, and pickle sandwiches.

As a child I liked cheese (gouda probably) with red currant (as a snack) and something what was normal in my familly, but appeared outrageous for the others: we ate french fries with soured milk or mashroom sauce…;D

A banana is much easier it peel if you use your finger nails to split the flower end.

Yes to pineapple and soy sauce
Yes to mango and shrimp paste
Watermelon and fish sauce watermelon is usually eaten with salt(anime) so it probably work
Odd pairing for me is maybe sweet dessert or maybe sweet pastry with cheese (maybe odd for you but common in the Philippines) like sugar glazed sweet bread with shaved cheese on top

Pickles and peanut butter was an experiment for me when I was 14…now at 46 I enjoy a peanut butter and pickle sandwich almost monthly! 😮😊

I don’t know what compels people to pick up something to eat and make a logical and rational decision to combine it with another completely random food in the belief that combination will taste good 😂 my mum ate marshmallows with a wotsit stuffed in it while she was pregnant with me and she acted like it was a normal thing but to this day it still repulses me 😂

Mcdonalds fries and soft serve is amzing

While I am sure it doesn't matter in this particular instance, but you know you are not supposed to use a metal spoon with caviar right?

  16. @sapphoculloden5215

    January 6, 2024 at 1:14 am

We haven't done it for years, but my wife and I quite like adding peanut butter to salad sandwiches. I think it started when we went to a cheap cafe run by a charity and their salad sandwiches didn't have any meat, so we asked for peanut butter for the protein.

    January 6, 2024 at 1:14 am

Wait, you know he's allergic to it, and yet you offer it to him, and then tell him not to eat it. What clusterf**k of a message are you trying to send?

  18. @marthawilson444

    Interesting!

    Imagine…..
You are laying in bed and you have to pee. After a wonderful expulsion of the bladder you think a night snack wont go amiss.
You open the refrigerator, only to see in your dismay that there is not but pickles in said refrigerator.
You open the jar to help yourself.
you think to yourself, this is some sad sad night snack.
Ahh but what`s this… peanut butter??? Hmmm I wonder???!!!
And so was born the pickle and peanut butter snack.

    Your welcome

Try a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich with a dill pickle on the side. Throw in some potato chips on the side too. Then you have sweet, sour and salty, in different bites.

Doritos and cookies and cream ice cream

I love a peanut butter dill pickle mayo sandwich.

Definitely banana with french baguette. Bite and bite or sandwich!

  24. @NorthernTigress

    January 6, 2024 at 1:14 am

My food combinations are not too bizarre, but they are a bit unexpected. White bread dipped into salty sour cream; and Graham wafers with butter.

  25. @linetteharriott5794

    January 6, 2024 at 1:14 am

Vegemite and avocado or Vegemite and poached eggs 0:18

  26. @TheRealBrook1968

    January 6, 2024 at 1:14 am

Has to be a sweet pickle not a dill. Peanut butter and sweet pickle was a standard sandwich in the 40s and 50s in the USA.
