Uganda school attack: Pupils among 40 killed by militants linked to Islamic State group – BBC News

Around 40 people, mostly pupils, have been killed at a school in western Uganda by rebels linked to the Islamic State group.
A further eight people remain in a critical condition after the attack on Lhubiriha secondary school in Mpondwe.
Boys staying in dormitories are among the dead. Several others, mostly girls, have been abducted, authorities said.

Donald Trump has said the US plans fresh talks with Iran from Monday, has and threatened to hit infrastructure if a deal is not agreed.
Shots fired at vessels in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday are a violation of the ceasefire agreement, the US president said, while Iran has also accused the US of breaching the truce agreement with its naval blockade.
Ships have again come to a standstill around the strait after Iran resumed its blockade yesterday.
