Published

on

The Israeli military has compared the surprise co-ordinated assault launched by Hamas on Saturday to the September 2001 attacks in the US.

“This is our 9/11 – they got us,” said an Israeli spokesperson.

More than 700 people have been killed in Israel since Saturday and almost 500 people have died in Gaza.

    Revisiting 9/11 case:

On the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, there were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks.
At 8:46 a.m., the North Tower of the World Trade Center was targeted and was the first hit by a hijacked airliner, American Airlines Flight 11.
At 9:03 a.m., the South Tower of World Trade Center was targeted and was the second hit by a hijacked airliner, United Airlines Flight 175.

At 9:37 a.m., the Pentagon, the headquarters of the American Military in Arlington County, Virginia, was targeted and was the third to be hit by a hijacked airliner, American Airlines, Flight 77.
At 10:03 a.m., the fourth hijacked airliner, United Airlines Flight 93, was flown in the direction of Washington, D.C.   This flight was the only plane not to hit its intended target, instead it was crashed in a field in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.

The 4th plane fallen, but why WTC7 kept blowing up and demolished exactly same way as WTC1 and WTC2?

You cant compare victims in proportions. Its like saying that 1 dead pope in Vatican is as bad as half a million of dead Americans.

Whereas 9/11 only involved four airplanes (two flown into the World Trade Center building, one flown into the Pentagon and the other, originally planned to hit the White House or the Congress building, instead flown into a field of grass in a small town in Pennsylvania after the passengers inside, hearing what happened, decided to fight back) being hijacked into attacking the United States, this is a full-blown invasion of a country born out of tragedy that has been fighting for its existence for 75 years with enemy countries bordering it and a bigger enemy 1,789 miles away from it.

Many Palestinians celebrated when the twin tower was bombed by their brothers islamic terrorists. They truly worship the demon because true God is for peace. You are not worthy of humanitarian aid because many of you are not humane. UN should separate the peace loving Palestinians before giving aid. If they give aid now, Hamas will forcibly take them for their own use. That's how Hamas love their "brothers".

And what happened after 9/11? The Iraq War, which was a disastrous blunder by the US, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis who died in the sectarian violence that was a foreseeable indirect result of toppling Saddam Hussein. The after effects of the Iraq War were also one of the factors that led to the emergence of ISIS.

"Classic war propaganda": There can absolutely be no comparison to 911! Have you learned nothing….have you not done your own research. The families of 911 are still demanding justice while our government drags its feet. 911 was never solved, this is easy….quit conflating! Liberal fascist do that. Tell the truth to be honest.

How was it even possible that the Hamas was able to do so? Israel has the Iron Dome, Mossad, best of defense forces, ect ect ect.
Now the world is saying "I stand with Israel" and who is not standing with Israel will stand with Hamas.
So, for our all future, …. that saying could bring terror to many countries around the world. Do we want this to happen?
Maybe some people want this to happen, so that we have even more chaos & suffering on this world.
We invited so many refugees to come to Europe. Now we should be careful how to treat this situation.

They call it 9/11, then flatten whole regions of gaza. Gaza looks more like ground zero of 9/11. A bomb on a building filled with families is no less evil than shooting them up close. Where is the UN? There should be an enforced dmz so either side can't do this again.

US hits ‘dozens’ of Iranian sites in strikes, as Iran targets US bases in region | BBC News

Published

on

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.

“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.

In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News

Published

on

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.

He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.

Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.

Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.

The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News

Published

on

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.

Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.

President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.
