What stands in the way? Well…. men. Of course. There's a saying that I don't remember where it came from; How does a man help a woman out of misogynistic oppression? He takes his boot off her neck.

I never dated or plan to date men from patriarchal societies or with that kind of upbrings, even if they are highly educated, and do believe in the equality of the 2 sexes on an intellectual level, it is still different. I met some really nice, good-hearted men from patriarchal societies or even multigenerational Americans with a patriarchal upbringing, but they are still, sth about them, deep-rooted, that I do not like. It is all about sth challenging their manhood, or they would not touch pink, etc. Seriously, one already has a good career but does not want a wife equally successful, said it challenges his manhood, he dreams about a wife who stays at home, but at the same time, his education made him say sth like well, whatever makes you happy, but totally insincere and then came up with other suggestions, and it is not like he would force his wife bc of his education but he said he will need a long time to digest and talk to the therapist, there was another guy I know who would not put a pink jacket on his dog in front of the workmen in his house, as it challenges his manhood, and asked me to do it. Yeah, I ordered the pink jacket but he did not object at the time. He has a phobia for pink, and cannot touch it, maybe he is afraid it will turn him into a woman?

Well, they don't do much of the glass cellar jobs – the essential, dirty, dangerous jobs that keep the male workplace death gap at well over 90%. They also don't suffer from a system which revises history, including the history of the vote, to make their sex out to be oppressors as men do. They don't live with a system which discriminates against them and has 'positive discrimination' quotas in jobs – which also discriminates against them. If they commit sexual assault/rape they live in a system which will make excuses for them and generally make their sex out to be 'sugar and spice'. What a load of rubbish your documentary was. Marxist Feminist nonsense basically. For equality, many metrics indicate women would face many disadvantages. I stopped my BBC Licence fee because of misandrist nonsense like this documentary – and I've never regretted it.

According to my opinion, girls cannot go out until it's late because our parents fear that we may be raped or kidnapped. Yes, boys also get raped but these people were born to be strong naturally and they can fight for themselves. And even if they may be raped they may only contract certain illnesses whereas girls may be pregnant and contract illness. And lastly, I agree there are strong girls out there but there is a less number of them compared to boys.

I stumbled across this 8 year old documentary by chance. I question if we have moved on. Possibly, but it is pedestrian. I don't have answers and even if I did I am just one small voice. So advice would just be to carry on making a difference and be outspoken. En masse it must permeate though as an accepted standard, eventually. That's weak but it's all I can I hope for.

Every and their dog knows once a month women become unstable , men dont get this because they dont periods , women get to that certain age when they dry up and the shit hits the fan ,mood swings ,what they call hotties ,and men dont get these things either

In a study on the effects of women & the menopause it was surgested that those women should not hold a position of power as they tend to be driven by their emotions and lack of natural hormones clouds their decissions !

Nothing, except some physical strength limitations for SOME women. Just like some men can't do those jobs either.
I used to be in the infantry. And some women (and men) are just unable to carry the load you NEED to carry at all or for the extended periods needed.
But I hear women make better fighter pilots, because they (on average) have better hand-eye coordination and being usually shorter is good for G tolerance.
I think different people are better suited to different jobs. And its not a gender issue. Size, strength, intelligence, coordination, etc… Not every man can do every job, nor can every woman.

US hits ‘dozens’ of Iranian sites in strikes, as Iran targets US bases in region | BBC News

Published

on

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.

“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.

In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News

Published

on

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.

He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.

Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.

Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.

The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

New explosions near Iranian port cities, says state media | BBC News

Published

on

Explosions have been heard near two Iranian port cities, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, state media has reported.

It comes after another night of strikes between the US and Iran, with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying it hit two UAE tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted US facilities in Jordan and Bahrain.

The UAE called the attack “brazen”, adding that an Indian crew member was killed and eight others were injured.

Meanwhile, the US military says it completed strikes on targets aimed at degrading “Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping” – Iranian state media reports three people were killed.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News

Published

on

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.

Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.

President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

Clive Myrie presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Sarah Smith in Washington.
