On Sunday, David Frost, Britain’s Chief Brexit Negotiator resigned from his position over a number of issues (but likely primarily because he disagreed with the government’s approach to Brexit). So in this video we unpack what this means for Brexit going forward and why Johnson might have put his rival in the role.

It seems pretty much a certainty that Andy Burnham will be the next British prime minister. Exactly when it happens depends on a few factors. We outline some of the reasons an early general election is likely.

On top off all that is the fact that if Article 16 is triggered then you'll have louder calls for a border poll in Northern Ireland. The DUP fear this very much as does Johnson who would end up getting the blame. Sinn Fein for their part might see this as the best opportunity they'll have for quite some time to force the issue. If this happens then you'll see the SNP in Scotland follow suit pretty quickly. Furthermore Instead of antagonizing the Republic of Ireland Johnson should be trying his best to foster better relations with them so that they in turn can advocate on the UK's behalf seeing that the UK no longer has a seat at the table. Johnson runs the real risk of pissing off the EU to the extent that they'll just throw the whole Withdrawal Agreement back in his face and tell him that the UK made its own bed and now it can sleep in it. Enter WTO rules and absolute chaos in the UK.

Excellent, as always. Just a teeny ween point (obviously just a slip-up) at 7:38, you meant to say Frost, rather than Davis. Thanks once again.

December 22, 2023 at 4:48 pm
Giving Liz Truss the poisoned chalice was clearly Tory backstabbing as it's finest but when you read the comments on the Daily Express (if you're masochistic enough) you will learn that all Brexitards praised Lord Frost after he resigned as a true Brexiteer that wound not compromise. So Liz Truss, however useless she is, might play exactly the same card – push for the hardest of Brexits and then when obviously BoJo would not be able to support it because it would be an utter disaster, quit claiming she was not willing to compromise and her stock could actually rise. If she does that then BoJo just shot himself in a foot

TLDR is again factual incorrect again, David Davis resigned because Teresa May caved and wanted UK to join Customs Union. Not that he couldn't negotiate the treaty

December 22, 2023 at 4:48 pm
She will not be better, Truss doesn’t have any skills, remember how she insulted the Australian negotiator?! If she is the best uk can find to complete the negotiations we are doomed. I think you’re right saying that she is the next to be burned and I’m pretty sure that idea come from Mrs. Johnson mind 🤔 she loves to be the First Lady 😍 and breeding fast as she does of course they need to be in a position of great power because only that situation offers the opportunities to request free nannies, free holidays, actually free everything, the donors will oblige to all their wishes! The“wonder couple knows very well that only living in Downing Street will give them the promise land of an incredible lavish luxurious lifestyle they aim so much!

If the UK risks a trade war, that will hardly limit the EU.
But it could be that a proud little island in the Atlantic is going through hard times.
Signing contracts with the EU is more difficult than selling cheese to the Japanese.
And above all, the EU takes the treaties seriously. And not as a cloun's jokes.
@crhu319
December 22, 2023 at 4:48 pm
EU should demand a new Scotland referendum with BBC shut down for the campaign and a formal apology for the 2014 lie that Scotland could only stay in EU by staying in UK, and a Northern Ireland referendum, hard border or join Dublin to unite Ireland as one country in EU.
Then there will be one clear border between EU and what remains of "UK" and it can have a Scandanavian style trade deal.
Any resistance to either demand and EU should boycott everything from England and Wales until Brexit is fully abandoned & every Conservative MP resigns.

Warning to Liz Truss, don’t let Boris destroy your reputation, get on and deliver brexit and if Boris obstructs you in your job resign and be honest with the public we will respect you for it, and it will strengthen you position as our next P.M. be careful of Boris, and if you are as wise as I think you are then you will not trust him.

Ni protocol is the Albatross around the neck of Brexit.
UK should stop EU from building the Irish sea border . Unfortunately UK government lack bottle !
So it's likely the unionists of ni will be forced to accept the sea border between GB and NI.

The UK is lucky that it had a very strong economy before Brexit. Otherwise it would be a trainwreck already. With Brexit it lost the advantage that its citizens have built for many years and there is a tendency to leave the ship that is sinking for those who are the EU citizens (They simply go bac kto their countries to do their job well there). Soon the EU would move forward and the UK will be left in the exact same place as it was when it decided to leave European community in the most optimistic scenario. It’s not easy to be all alone and the position of power once lost can’t be regained easily. It will take years to rebuild what Brits have lost by one wrong move and the future generations of British children will have less opportunities. Their bright future could be in jeopardy due to politician and xenophobic decisions that Britain has made by choosing Brexit over common sense.
