Starmer DIGS at Kemi Badenoch: “she can’t complain now” as borrowing prices RISE due to conflict
Keir Starmer takes a dig at Kemi Badenoch’s stance on the conflict in Iran, stating that “she can’t complain now” given the rise in borrowing costs.
Starmer has made his position clear as he avoids “jumping in with two feet”, as that is what the opposition would have done.

Keir Starmer CONFRONTED over ‘HYPOCRISY’ and Reform THREATEN Labour MPs as Britain RIDICULED abroad
Sir Keir Starmer has been confronted over his perceived ‘hypocrisy’ after he accused the Tories and Reform UK of a ‘political stunt’ in forcing a vote in Parliament on whether the Prime Minister should be investigated over his handling of the Peter Mandelson scandal.
Starmer himself had pushed for Boris Johnson to be investigated by the same committee, leading to the Tory PM’s downfall.
News outlets around the world have been ridiculing Britain, comparing Keir Starmer’s popularity to their lowest-ranked leaders. Starmer is more unpopular than the least popular US president in history, George W Bush.
Ahead of Tuesday’s Commons vote, Reform UK’s Zia Yusuf warned Labour MPs their constituencies would be swamped with canvassers alerting voters to those who refused to back an investigation into the ‘most unpopular PM in history’.

The government should cut it loose, and scrap the licence fee, and they can choose who they like.

How about we don't have gov put someone in the chair and the public just don't pay for it and bbc goes it's own way just a intellectual thought.

Wouldn't make any difference as they'd only hire a person who is probably corrupt.

One might wish to ask Gary Lineker who he thinks should appoint the Chair of the BBC? No doubt Gary Lineker thinks he should or people equally mentally deranged, sel-interested, out of touch, politically motivated, hypocritical, and disingenuous, for example, BBC employees. What is it about democracy that people like Gary Lineker hate and despise so very much? They don't so much have a problem with democracy what they hate and despise is the people that vote in elections. In Gary Lineker's case, especially football fans, and even more so England fans. To be fair to Gary Lineker being employed by a corporate cult such as the BBC for as long as he has will inevitably cause serious mental issues, such as self-hatred, delusions of grandeur, a vast and expanding disconnect with common humanity, authoritarian tendencies, to say the least, and a tendency to habitually self gratify oneself into a boss-eyed frenzy, preferably in public, become all but inevitable. I have little doubt that if it were not for his time at The BBC and being a top-paid sports star for so long, poor old Gary Lineker would be almost normal. So normal that hardly anyone would be remotely interested in anything about him other than his comically protruding ears.

Impartial Director General but not Impartial presenters Gary, if they were chosen by a Labour government Gary would be very quiet me thinks. How can anyone who isnt left leaning possibly survive in an openly left wing propagandist corporation that is taxing the British public?

No the BBC has to be unbiased. Labour would choose there candidate the conservatives would choose there person.

It would only be relevant if there was any difference between the 2 electable parties on anything that matters. They all live in Islington (so to speak), same as the media careerists.
