Can Johnson Get a Deal Through (MPs Maths): https://youtu.be/8uuH5T6N4-k

For the last couple of days, the UK and EU have been working together to try and reach a new deal. Yesterday everything was starting to look up, but Johnson still needs to persuade one group, the Democratic Unionist Party. In this video, we discuss the DUP’s reaction and if they have killed off Johnson’s deal

PLEASE NOTE: As expected, just 90 minutes after this video's publication, Johnson and EU announced that they have reached a new deal. We will dive into that deeper in a future video, but it's worth noting that because of this change, some of this video is no longer accurate – Jack

As my comments read elsewhere on this channel, can I respectfully urge you to exercise the basic common decency and courtesy to refer to the Prime Minister and to all public servants you make reference to by their full names or titles of the posts they hold?

I feel sure that irreverence is not the way you were brought up, the bona fide media refer to the PM and to other politicians by their full names or job titles, perhaps you would kindly do so in future? Your approach in this respect, which is otherwise a reasonable and informative presentation, lacks polish and professionalism and comes across as slovenly and loutish!

I hope these two points are helpful and taken onboard as constructive, criticism with good intentions to improve rather than a blatant disrespectful and personal attack on you. I would otherwise willingly subscribe to your channel but for the reasons which I've mention above which need desperately and professionally addressing and until this courtesy is afforded, I will withold my subscription to this channel.

Of course the DUP would never, never, never, agree to this shameful betrayal of Northern Ireland. Foolish Boris thought he could smooze the DUP and win the day, he is going down.

The DUP keep saying they represent Northern Ireland, haha no they don't because the DUP are a backwards dinosaur party and the tories are only finding it out now. Over in Northern Ireland we have known about it for nearly 13 years haha.

Interesting to know that the DUP only agreed to support the May government after she paid them 2 million pounds of tax-payers money (by the way, what did they do with that?) Are they waiting for a similar hand-out from the PM, cos they`ll still be waiting after Brexit.

DUP holding people to ranson. No surprises there. Welcome to Northern Ireland.

DUP and there supppsed 200k supports holding 60million ppl in Britain and 450million in the EU to ranson on a deal. 200k vs 500million. Hope Boris shafts the DUP.

The Ben Act is already an illegitimate act made by a group of public-defying, slow & disagreeable politicians who can't stand the idea of making an actual decision.
He might not go against it, but (corrupt law aside), no one should hold it against him were he to refuse to ask (as it has been 3 years of no notable progress on a deal as it is, and neither side wants to capitulate).

Boris: "Michel Barnier has ruled out an extension but don't worry! We've got a great deal everyone!"
    DUP:…
    Boris:…*ahem*
DUP: "…what?…Oh yeah! We hate the deal. Boooo!"
Boris: "WHHHAAAAA! Oh no! That means we'll have to have a no deal Brexit and it won't be my fault!"

Narrator: "And that's how Boris Johnson got the No Deal Brexit he'd always wanted and he and all the Tories who'd hedged their bets on us having one became very rich indeed, put all their money in offshore accounts and lived happily ever after. Even though the general public didn't.
    The End."

I still find it amazing that everyone's just willing to go along with Johnson's "let's rely on untested technology and companies regulating themselves" as his actual, real 'plan' for things. It's pretty blatantly obvious that it just objectively will not work at all like that, which makes it seem like a really dishonest kicking of the can down the road more than any kind of plan for an actual customs arrangement.

"Nothing bad will happen because, y'see, we thought about solutions that maybe could possibly work if we had a decade or more to develop them," is not a reassuring thing to keep hearing from the UK
