I'd have made potato candy. Either mashed potato balls with coconut, maybe some almond flavoring, and chocolate and paraffin coating (poor man's summer coating?). I know there's another popular potato candy that is rolled up with peanut butter in the center; not sure if it also uses flaked coconut or not.

Use the mashed potato to make tato candy, I think equal parts mashed potato and icing sugar pipe it into granulated sugar and let dry like a simple icing bonbon. Medium waxy potato skin on but with sections zester, poached in a sweetened port/sherry covered in caramel sauce with toasted nuts. Mashed potato churros.

My first thought was to make sweet mash potatoes creation. Just to make regular mash with butter and a little bit of salt and than adding coconutmilk and some condensed milk. Make a bed out of this and cover it with powdered sugar than a layer of fruits like raspberry, blueberry and strawberry. On top of that a ball of chocolade icecream and a ball of vanilla icecream. Whipped cream om top of that and then some mintleaves. Don't know if that would work, but something like that would've been my starting point.

Would love a saboteur pass-it-on. One person secretly has to also do things to confuse the direction of the initial dish. Not sure how what the rules would be exactly, maybe if the final dish doesn't get made he wins, if they do make the final dish the team wins. They have to watch back and do a reaction video to see who the saboteur was.

I love the episodes where someone experienced watches the cooking and we get their commentary, it's so funny. Poppy having long hair down while in the kitchen drove me mad though, ack.

Honestly, Poppy chose the best order. Barry and Jamie are not professionally trained and don't have the top level skills, but they're way more creative and out-of-the-box-ish. Barry is more prone to stress-induced fails than Jamie. Ebbers and Mike are both far more professionally trained and they have the skills necessary to take a hodge podge mess and turn it into something proper. Ebbers is a bit more organized and traditional, but Mike is a bit better at plating and adding some flare to the end.
So you have Barry 1st to be way creative and out-of-the-box before the stress of trying to work with others' results kicks in. Jamie adds moreish-ness and more creativity. Ebbers organizes and adds structure to the creative mess Barry and Jamie have made. Then Mike re-de-organizes it a bit and plates it up creatively.
This chef order, if it were applied to every recipe relay, would come out with superior results.

I have to say, 12:25 I would not likely be putting the cherries so carefully, unless he wishes to protect the texture. I don’t know where he was going, but if they were meant to be cooked, or even macerated, squishing the pits out would not matter. It might help.🤗🌸🇺🇸💋

IMHExperience, 3:51 they become more blue with time, and the color permeates more fully. But blue, not purple. Purple potatoes turn blue, given time.🤗But I L💖VE Poppy, and I defer, ultimately to her professionalism and expertise.💋💋🙏🏻🌸🇺🇸

Leave it to Jamie to disregard what's been done before and think he knows better so he goes his own direction not finishing so the next person comes to two completely different started dishes instead of the original dish advanced. He does it practically every time.

I don't want to enforce a stereotype, but as a Pole I was immediately… potato dessert, so obvious. I've been shouting at my screen "plum dumplings" (Knedle) for 20 minutes. Potato donuts are awesome if you mix potatoes with pumpkin. You could also make cookies with berries.
I love Poppy's energy, she's like "not today Satan"…
