EXPLOSIVE🧨! Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte | Full Fight | BRITISH HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE | 12/12/2015
Anthony Joshua vs. Dillian Whyte, billed as Bad Intentions, was a professional boxing match contested between Commonwealth and WBC International heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, and WBC International Silver heavyweight champion, Dillian Whyte, with the vacant British heavyweight title also on the line. The bout took place on 12 December 2015 at The O2 Arena.
Joshua and Whyte first fought in 2009 as amateurs, with Whyte knocking Joshua down en route to a points decision victory. While Joshua stayed in the amateurs to win a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics, Whyte turned professional in 2011, going on to compile a record of 9–0 (6 KOs) before receiving a two-year ban after failing a drug test in 2012 for the banned substance methylhexaneamine.
After the ban ended in 2014, Whyte expressed his desire for a rematch with Joshua, now 9–0 (9 KOs), while also claiming there was animosity between the two after Joshua made disparaging comments towards Whyte in an interview.
On 9 July 2015, the British Boxing Board of Control announced an agreement had been reached between the two to fight for the vacant British heavyweight title. Following Joshua’s win over Gary Cornish in September, a first-round TKO to capture the vacant Commonwealth title, promoter Eddie Hearn revealed during the post-fight interview that the bout would take place on 12 December at The O2 Arena in London.
Joshua was ranked 2nd by the WBC, 3rd by the WBO, 7th by the IBF and 13th by the WBA, while Whyte was ranked 18th by the WBC.

🪖 Battle of Britain 🇬🇧Herbie Hide vs Michael Bentt | FULL FIGHT | WBO Heavyweight Title | Sky Sports
Michael Bentt 11–1 (6 KO) vs. Herbie Hide 25–0 (24 KO) was a professional boxing match contested on 19 March 1994, for the WBO heavyweight title.
Bentt, in only his 12th professional fight and virtually unknown, scored an upset first-round knockout victory over the heavily favored Tommy Morrison, making him the new WBO heavyweight champion in the process. Bentt’s first defence was announced to take place in London. Bentt who had been born in London but raised in New York City championed his British heritage exclaiming to be as British as “Bruno, Lewis or Thatcher.” Bentt and his team narrowed his potential opponents to British fighters Lennox Lewis and Herbie Hide, with Bentt also receiving a big money offer to face George Foreman. While Bentt stated he preferred Foreman or Lewis, he was unable to reach an agreement with either fighter and Hide was ultimately picked as his opponent.
A memorable altercation occurred two months before the fight. On 10 January 1994, Bentt and Hide were at a press conference at the Sheraton Park Tower Hotel in London to promote the fight. Hide, who had taken exception to Bentt calling himself British, caused an uproar when he knocked a baseball cap off Bentt’s head, leading to Bentt to retaliate by throwing a punch that sent Hide down. Hide and Bentt then wrestled each other in a puddle before they were broken up. Hide complained to the media afterward “It goes to show what hooligans we have in boxing. He’s a nut. He can’t take criticism. He hit me for no reason at all.” Said Bentt about the incident “He compromised my manhood. No man is going to lay his hands on me. I don’t regret it. I’m a man first and a boxer second. Nobody attempts to belittle me.” Two days later, Bentt had a change of heart and apologized for his role in the brawl stating “I want to apologize this morning to all the people of Britain. I let boxing down. I let myself down. I let my faith down because of my behaviour with Herbie Hide. “All I remember is him coming at me. He pulled my Millwall cap off, but I thought he was about to attack me. That’s why I hit out. There was no malice, there was nothing personal about it at all.” Because of the brawl, both Bentt and Hide were fined $14,800 by the British Boxing Board of Control.

🗣️”I can beat Usain Bolt in the 100M‼️” Haye vs Fury | The Fight That Never Was #Throwback #Boxing
🗣️”I can beat Usain Bolt in the 100M‼️”
🎥 When David Haye & Tyson Fury appeared Sky Sports’ Ringside show following the opening presser for their huge showdown in 2013.
❌ Following two seperate injuries to the ‘Hayemaker’ the bout never came to fruition and, even though they shared just the one day of build-up & hype, it is a contest that is still debated to this day.
🗣️ The ‘Gypsy King’ was unequivocal in his belief about what had occured saying “I’m absolutely furious but in all honesty this is exactly what I expected.
Everyone knows I was very suspicious when he pulled out the first time and this confirms to me that he’s always been afraid of me and never wanted this fight.”
Was Fury right in his assesment?🤔

😱CRAZY FIGHT‼️ Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder III | FULL FIGHT | WBC Title | BT Sport Box Office
Tyson Fury 30–0–1 (21 KO) vs. Deontay Wilder 42–1–1 (41 KO) III, billed as Once and for All, was a professional boxing match contested between WBC and The Ring heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, and former WBC heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder. The bout took place at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on October 9, 2021. The fight was widely regarded as the best fight of the year and one of the greatest heavyweight fights of all time, winning the award for The Ring magazine Fight of the Year 2021.
Fury and Wilder first fought in December 2018, with the bout ending in a controversial draw. The pair had a rematch in February 2020, with Fury emerging victorious via seventh-round technical knockout to capture the WBC and vacant Ring magazine heavyweight titles. Wilder initiated a contractual rematch clause in March, with the bout initially being scheduled for July 18. However, due to Wilder still recovering from surgery and concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, the bout was postponed to October. The date was again pushed back to December due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions that would limit fan attendance. After ESPN was unwilling to televise the bout as the event would conflict with their NFL schedule, it was suggested the date be pushed back for a third time. Upon hearing the news, Fury announced that he was walking away from the fight, stating, “they asked me if I would agree to push it to December. I agreed to Dec. 19. Then they tried to change the date again into next year. I’ve been training. I’m ready. When they tried moving off Dec. 19 and pushing to next year, enough was enough. I’ve moved on.” Wilder responded to the comments by releasing a video on social media, accusing Fury of cheating in their February 2020 fight.
With Fury’s team insisting the rematch clause had now expired, and Wilder’s team insisting the opposite, the teams entered into a mediation process in an attempt to solve the issue, with a legally binding outcome being decided by an arbitration judge. In the meantime, Fury entered negotiations for a unification bout with reigning WBA (Super), IBF and WBO champion, Anthony Joshua. Following months of negotiations between the promoters of Fury and Joshua, an official announcement was said to be imminent. However, on May 17, 2021, it was announced that the arbitration judge had ruled in Wilder’s favor, ordering Fury to face Wilder no later than September 15.
Following the arbitration decision, Fury’s co-promoter, Bob Arum, revealed a targeted date of July 24, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The fight was postponed after Fury tested positive for COVID-19 in July 2021. The new date was announced as October 9, 2021. Both men weighed in at their respective career-heaviest weights, with the champion Fury weighing in at 277 lbs, and the challenger Wilder at 238 lbs.
