Funeral of Diogo Jota and André Silva takes places in Portugal | BBC News
Mourners have attended the funeral of Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva in their hometown of Gondomar, Portugal.
Family members and leading football figures were seen filing into the church, as hundreds gathered outside to pay their respects.
The brothers died in a car crash in Spain on Thursday – officials say it went off the road due to a tyre blowout while overtaking another vehicle.
The Liverpool forward, 28, married his long-term partner just 11 days before the crash – they have three children.

The US has intercepted and seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship attempting to get past its blockade of Iran’s ports, according to US President Donald Trump.
He said the ship was given “fair warning to stop” in the Gulf of Oman but refused, so the navy “stopped them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engine room”.
Earlier it was confirmed that a US delegation led by the Vice President JD Vance will be In Pakistan for a new round of peace talks with Iran. However Iran has not confirmed that it will be participating in the talks.
Trump has again threatened to destroy Iran’s power plants and bridges if they do not reach a deal with the US, including reopening the strait of Hormuz to international shipping.
