How to cook rice using an Aroma rice cooker. Cooking white rice recipe using an Aroma rice cooker. Rice to water ratio for this long grain white rice is 1:2 ratio (1 cup rice to 2 cups water ratio). This ratio may apply to other types of rice (like long grain rice, Basmati rice, Jasmine rice). If available, check out your rice packaging for any rice to water ratio indications, to get the best results in cooking white rice.
White rice is a common side dish for many Chinese food, Asian food, Filipino food. This is an easy to follow cooking white rice recipe. You want a beef stew or a chicken fajitas for dinner … but wait, you need rice for that! This video will show you how to cook rice (like long grain rice, Basmati rice, Jasmine rice) in a quick and simple steps, using an Aroma rice cooker. Including preparation time, it will takes roughly less than 45 minutes (actual time) to prepare from start to finish cooking white rice, but time varies depending on the amount of rice you are cooking.
As mentioned above, the rice to water ratio for this white rice (long grain rice) is 1:2 ratio (1-cup rice to 2-cups water ratio), which may also apply to Basmati rice, Jasmine rice. Some types of rice may vary in ratio but most rice packaging will have directions of the rice to water ratio, just follow the ratio indicated for best results and cooking method is similar or the same as shown in this video.
NOTE: It is advisable that you do not rinse the rice grains before cooking so that you will NOT wash off the vitamins and nutrients present in the rice.
