To safeguard his family and the thirty thousand people under his rule, he must overhaul the army, recruit commoners and slaves, and unmask the mastermind behind the bounty on his head—all while contending with wild magical beasts, bandit factions, and a looming crisis that threatens to engulf the entire territory.

That assassination attempt on the snowy night may well have been merely the opening signal of a far greater conspiracy.
