Published

on

Are you even celebrating the launch of Stranger Things 2 if you’re not tucking into upside down demogorgon chicken and waffles?

This time on Step Up To The Plate Jamie & James review season 1 to draw inspiration from the favourite foods of Hopper, Barb and Millie Bobbie Brown’s Eleven. We’ve created something….. strange!

Seeing James in Jamie’s shirt instead of his chef jacket is one of the “stranger things” I’ve seen on this channel! (Bah doomp boom!……….I’ll return to my corner now! Lol)

My favourite sauce with chicken & waffles is jalapeno honey: 1 c honey in food processor or blender with 1 whole fresh jalapeno (if you want to have less heat, remove the seeds). Blend until smooth. Delicious!

American lager is awful, but thankfully there’s tons and tons of amazing craft breweries that have seen a huge uptick in growth here over the past 15 years or so. They help us forget about the watered down nonsense made by companies like Budweiser, Miller, and Coors.

Watching this in 2022 when after saying "all cooking show formats that will ever exist already exist" the Sorted boys proceed to do something absolutely genius with pass it on (I've not seen anyone do that before!)

I couldn't be more p*** off as a BOH manager about the fact that Jamie left the top button undone on James's chef coat and to be missing the neckerchief is heartbreaking.
