Social media takes over our lifes and freedom is handed over to companies like Walmart and general motors obviously taking over our life. C the cookies on ur computer don't want to know where u earn rather where u spend. Positioning of products and even sales tactics like discounts entice one to purchase what they want u to buy. If freedom is gone through draconian law I wonder where is the ofcom gonna get the authority to preserve ur freedom of purchase. In short it is not. Freedom is gone how much more will we lose. Perhaps our ancestors had a point in refuting CCTV or perhaps not. Depends on the point of view. I for one think its normal to be steered in the right direction. Like when u have no time and ask the customer service attendant to point u to the desired product. Do we really need freedom? If we understand it I think we don't. Having said that. Covid is historic. It has destroyed alot of sectors of our life. Let's not lose more by chanting freedom. A slave has no worry about what he wears what he eats its all provided. I think slavery was propaganda to demonize the practise. Well I'm not asking u to do anything. Just stating where we r heading. Without capital as one rents today not much clout to change that but protesting isn't an option either. As violent protests have been deemed terrorism. Gl with ur whim to retain freedom. Its going and going fast.

Just as police upped they game on the front line. Think that Hiroshima and Nagasaki was not to warn us but rather to advertise it on the basis of it being controlled to some extent. Big industry in those early days. Rules of engagement will change. Don't get left behind. Look at China

Why would Boris wish to be on a Bbc biased remoaner slur campaign… clearly transparent how the BBC have not been impartial..with every election debate the majority of the questions selected are remoaner ones, also mainly remoaner audiences chosen and selected questions are clearly remoaner ones.. every time the conservatives or the brexit party start to give an answer they are clearly not allowed to give an answer when you know it’s correct. Always cutting them off and always allowing the remoaners on the panel to answer every question to the full but never interrupted… BBC do you really think the British people who pay billions to the bbc are that naive to not see what’s going on with your biased remoaner stance. The whole country should support a campaign to scrap bbc licence fees.

Macron talked too much, but he didn't walk the talk. France has an unemployment rate of over 9%, which is one of the highest unemployment rates in Europe. France's economic growth is going down fast. Low income families in France forced to choose between food on the table or utility bills, especially on frigid days.

Whats the difference between Trudeau and macron? Trudeau want to sovietize America and macron wants to sovietize the EU. Biggest Nato problem of today? Most of its members want soviet style control, management and integration and this is everything trump is against.

US hits ‘dozens’ of Iranian sites in strikes, as Iran targets US bases in region | BBC News

Published

on

The US said it has hit “dozens” of Iranian military targets in overnight attacks, in response to Iran hitting commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

The military said it struck “air-defense systems, coastal radar sites, missile and drone capabilities, and small boats”, using aircraft, ships, and drones – including “one-way attack sea drones for the first time”.

“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital maritime corridor for global trade,” the US military said. “Iran does not control it”.

In response, Iran said it targeted US bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait and also radar systems in Oman.

Trump demands 20% toll on cargos passing through strait of Hormuz | BBC News

Published

on

President Donald Trump has said the US is reinstating a naval blockade of Iranian ports and will impose a 20% charge on all cargo shipped through the Strait of Hormuz following days of escalating strikes between the two countries.

He said this would stop “Iran’s ships or customers” from entering or leaving the key oil shipping route, but “all other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait”.

Iran’s foreign minister later said whoever provides safe passage “should be compensated for this service”, but Iran would remain the strait’s “GUARDIAN” – using Trump’s word.

Tehran and Washington clashed over the strait’s control after exchanging strikes in the region overnight and on Monday.

The US said it carried out strikes against military targets in Iran, targeting air defence systems, coastal radars, and missile and drone sites. Iran said it responded by striking US military bases in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain, and radars in Oman.

US launches more strikes on Iran and resumes naval blockade of ports | BBC News

Published

on

The US military said it was carrying out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran. It said the aim of the attacks was to degrade Iran’s ability to attack shipping in the strait of Hormuz. It came ass the US Navy resumed its blockade of Iran’s ports.

Iran said that control of the strait of Hormuz was required for its national security and it will exercise sovereignty over the key shipping lane, whatever the cost.

President Trump announced that he was scrapping a plan he had announced a day earlier, for placing a 20% toll or tariff on all cargos passing through the strait of Hormuz.

Clive Myrie presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Sarah Smith in Washington.
