Throwing them off by saying what was actually the 3rd clue was only the 2nd especially when the first "do you want to win or too lose was possibly the biggest clue in the video, easily by that point was very clever Ben. I mean the working under pressure clue you might have well said it. Honestly when and what for was impossible unless you really knew already but Concorde was fairly clear after 8 mins or so.

Concorde flight ?
@andy70d35
January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
2.12 as soon as Ben said do you want to win or Toulouse.
Something to do with Concorde. The first flight was from Toulouse in March 1969.
The saddest day in aviation history was 26th November 2003 with Concorde G-BOAF landing at Filton,
the last every flight of the most beautiful aircraft ever built and an amazing achievement from the engineers in Britain and France who only had drawings slide rules and models in wind tunnels to work with.
As many celebrities said of the last flight from JFK to London, the day aviation went backwards.

Love this series!!! I got the idea with the 2 nations "hint" Lucky me! I was a big fan of that era of flight.

January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
I thought the history event was the end of the Cold War since it was mentioned that nations were involved. Fancy stuff, the timeline, the cigar… I thought I had it. What even is a board concord?
@itsgrawkneeah
January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
When Ben mentioned treaty the one and only guess I had was Versailles cos all of I could think of was the treaty of Versailles!😅😂🙈
@Bruce1983
January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
When he mentioned the menus venue I thought Versailles but am 11 month late so no prizes here
@MirkaHK
January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
Sounds like what Josh did in Mythical Kitchen, Concord flight? Beyond that, no clue.
@jessicaeddins6550
January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
8:15 I am guessing 1989 the fall of the berlin wall celebration, and the Two nations were East and West Germany.

Concorde – at 6:40. 1969, France, English words, fancy menus, harmony between two nations. I had no idea that Concorde would have a menu. But I was sure it was Concorde.

Rewatching this and still don't understand what Barry was referencing at 5:43 when he said "he doesn't make those sorta mistakes" ive no idea what clue Ben had just given
@timokampwerth1996
January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
Knowing what it is now, the second clue is nonsense. Dropping the board was more of a clue than the second official clue.

I got it half right, knew it was the Concorde, didn’t know it was the round the world flight, thought it was the menu from its first flight
@michaelnunley7609
January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
13:48 I think the meal celebrates the dismantling of the Berlin Wall but I cannot imagine where it was hosted being unfamiliar with European architecture.

January 14, 2024 at 9:22 pm
Knowing a little bit about the history of the thing at the center of the event (being vague to not spoil it for anyone) – I've seen a venue where it might have been served, in fact – every hint makes sense in hindsight. I know what the two nations are in this. And the small number of chefs versus the large number of diners absolutely makes sense. But the fruits completely threw me for a loop. I would never have guessed what the menu was for, and for the life of me I can't imagine how anyone got that right. But that might just be because I'm an American and wouldn't be as impacted by the event as you all in the UK.
