I absolutely ADORE when Chef Poppy is on with Chef Ben and the Lads. She reminds me SO MUCH of Chefs that I worked with/under. Humor, inuendoes, and all. Brilliant!

I think this video shows how big of a role visual demonstration has when performing a task. Audible instructions can either be quick and concise to convey tasks at speed which is required in some situations or they can be more detailed and elaborate to provide the receiver with as much clarity about the process they’ve been asked to perform, much like a recipe often does. But the biggest issue with communication so often is that it can be misinterpreted or if travelling along a large chain of bureaucracy can change from the original message which leads to errors and misunderstandings and the childhood game Chinese whispers shows how easy communication can go wrong

The reason I do not care for rachel ray 9:38 is her determined, and repeated refusal to say the word, “chiffonade.” For years, she simply said to “roll a cigar, and cut ribbons.” Granted, that is the manual function, but by never telling her audience the correct term, she was talking down to them—me. She has no respect for her viewers. I do not care for her.💋🫶🏻🇺🇸🌸 You do! My goodness! 12:35 See? If those with knowledge keep it from their students, what is the point? What are we doing here?

1:56 I am wondering (not for the first time), why after all of these years, you have a studio without running water? Even if the building is not built that way, and retro-fitting is too dear, why not try a tank of water with hoses? Perhaps a pressure pump, so the tank need not be full to function? And place it upon elevation? I dunno. It seems insane that you have no running water.🤗💋🫶🏻🫶🏻🇺🇸🌸

That's got to be the dumbest system of scoring something, since the electoral college was established. You give yourself a high score, your rival – a low score, and bam, you won.

  13. @joeblount7156

    January 11, 2024 at 10:34 am

Really feels like Barry tanked the opposing scores to secure a win. The ending felt weird.

Please, PLEASE bring Poppy back- I LOVE her so much!🥰

And now we understand why artichokes are so expensive- the effort to reward ratio is insane!

Poppy always makes these videos better. More visits from her, or other outside chefs, would be lovely.

0:32 "You can't cook a dead lobster" What?! Yes you can.

  20. @katydid450

and I was so hoping that "remote control" meant "affixed with shocking mechanisms" 😥

  21. @mellchiril

    January 11, 2024 at 10:34 am

Love what they've done with the food, it looked amazing and I can only imagine it tasted amazing as well.
Have to admit, I spent half the video looking at the poor lobster in the back, wondering if anyone was going to put it back in water since no one was using it anyway

I need Poppy and Jamie on a team again. Don't care about the specifics, but they build off each other in a chaotic manner and its great.
