You must be drunk or politically biased. The pound is trading at below €1.15 euro and just above $1.20. You believe that this is a success?

With markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hike, while treasury yields are rising rapidly—which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I profit from the current volatile market, I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $275k bond/stocck portfolio

UK 's economy looks good, because so many others are destroying theirs, alot quicker…

The UK cannot borrow from anywhere today and printing beyond the gold standard has been stopped, but the damage is already done… This is the calm before the storm for the UK!

Raising interest rates to control inflation works only to benefit the 'elite dictators' of the Uk… You are finished li'l britons 😂😂😂

Dollar is weak on every currencies this year not just Pounds. If we want to check Pounds becomes strong, we need to compare with Euros.

The data shows how economists are untrustable, at least as bad as Truss.

Sunak has actually worked wonders and brought Britain out of the cess pool but the whites don't have face not big enough heart to accept it. Eventually they will vote him out and bring a pink guy back. Be happy in ur cesspool

  25. @IceClawz.

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

Despite not being a Tory or labour supporter I did have faith that sunak would somewhat reverse what truss did because he knows what to do when moneys involved.

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

leave it to the indian guy

  27. @vinecentral8714

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

Lost interest when you attributed the mini budget as the cause of the 4x in the bond yield. High levels of inflation caused by extreme expansionary monetary policy during Covid and a war in Ukraine are the reason for the high yielding bonds mate.

  28. @lapis.lazuli.

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

The the pound has strengthend because interests rates were increased + tax rates increased. Simply this makes the pound more scarce, the pound was already falling steadily for about 12 months before truss under johnson (by 40%) unnoticed by the public, (the pound fell 15% with truss, this the public noticed) the reason for this is that because our BOE bank rates were too low with respect to USA fed rates.

  29. @funnymakerboy4199

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

Sunak need india😂 just dream . Well india central government's was hell.😤 bloody hell. Lots more promise but nothing can do. India economic growing well 😤 bloody hell central bank banned 2000rupees currency (big currency of india).😩 😒 Wtf 😒.

  34. @Baby1245

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

Good money….The British pound is good money…. It serviced the world in the late 1800s up to the early 1900s… The US Dollar became the favorite after that because of It's involvement in the Marshall plans for Europe and even in the Pacific… Like the Swiss Franc… The British Pound will save a lot of people in Europe and the rest of the world…

  35. @isabellaschopper8988

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

It’s a nice Money the pound but it’s only a paper gold is money not paper

  36. @hydra66

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

Sunak managed to scapegoat truss and take none of the responsibility. She wouldnt be able to topple the house if it didnt have weak foundations to start with. Dont blame this all on Truss' stint alone

  37. @philipmilner9638

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

The pound is having a 'dead cat bounce', when however low something falls it has no where to go but up….

    100% UTTER BS.

  40. @FluffyUnikxrn

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

It was because of Liz Truss. She was unfortunately and incorrectly blamed for a series of events which took place over a larger time span of her premiership. Also the majority of this was outside of the governmens ability to handle as the Bank of England are responsible for controlling inflation, not the government.

Been over 1 year since I watch your channel, and it's still touting the same "left wing" fake news.

  42. @tomthumb2361

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

People always see the UK as a safe haven in hard times. Look around. Where else has such an unbroken history of coming through economic, political or military storms. The economy still is a mess, with low productivity and investment.

  43. @mercedesvan-doors34

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

Is there an argument that the money men manipulated the currency to get the politician they wanted.

Indians are more British than genetic Britishers.

  45. @madhumitaroy4756

    No

  46. @NerdyUK

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

You missed the 4th reason, that much of negative sentiment was driven by forecasts that overstated the downside risks to the economy. When it became clear the forecasts were wrong markets were forced to re-evaluate and sentiments improved.

  47. @charliec6020

    January 9, 2024 at 8:06 am

can we renationalise MPs? They have the same quality issues and outcomes show now sign of improving.

I vote we nationalise the Tory party but as a task group to investigate the complete doings of goat and sheep on the Falklands – send them there until their magnus opus is considered a complete accounting of these creatures.

Meanwhile in mainland UK we ought have some MPs appointed to represent human conditions and needs within the union of which we the citizens, fund and vote for.

  48. @mahdibougossa8502

Long term though Truss was right. it will come and bite us in the behind by pleasing the bankers.
