Jamie cutting that fish reminded me of the first time I was left to break down a whole side of tuna on my own at the restaurant I worked for and I was terrified I would mess it up even though I had been trained to do it by a very competent fish monger. I got through it and all my cuts were passable but I never wanted to be left alone with a piece of fish worth thousands ever again.

That thumbnail tho. Why does James look like Owen Newitt on The Vicar of Dibley?! My mans a Culinary Chad. I hope the person in charge of lighting ended up being served with a beautifully seasoned mushroom Risotto ..that was quickly fed to the the production team.

  22. @Coentjemons

    January 9, 2024 at 4:03 am

Everyone doing their utter best to describe what they taste (what can be difficult)

11 is not the highest level on japanes wagyu

  24. @yuiyamamoto3827

    January 9, 2024 at 4:03 am

Sake means alcoholic beverages in Japanese so it can apply for beer, wine or any other alcoholic drinks as well.
The actual name is Nihon Shu, 日本酒. Nihon, 日本 means Japanese and Shu, 酒 means alcoholic beverage.
If you ask for “Nihon Shu”, the staff will recommend you the best pairs of Nihon Shu for your meal when you visit Japan.
Its aroma and flavor are very classic and sensual so real sushi is the greatest combination of all.

    January 9, 2024 at 4:03 am

This is why I hate these kind of videos.
If your income is around 3000 p and you need only 30 to be able to taste dishes like that, this is brilliant
However in my freaking country it would be around 300 . With the same income of 3000 ;(

  31. @silknfeathers

    January 9, 2024 at 4:03 am

I know it's a little late, guys, but the pronunciation of "sakay" is a little grating. It's "sakeh", with a short "e" at the end. (the London accents probably don't help!😂- coming from an ex-Manchester Pom now an Aussie!). Great vid as usual.

  32. @KyleCorbeau

    January 9, 2024 at 4:03 am

1:50 I don't appreciate that it's literally the same 5 or 6 things in different orders over and over again to inflate the complexity of manufacturing. 🤨

  33. @emilyb3875

    January 9, 2024 at 4:03 am

That first place looked amazing if I'm ever in London I'm definitely going there
