Iran leader vows harsh response to deadly bombings that killed 84 | BBC News

Published

on

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has vowed a “harsh response” to a bomb attack on crowds marking the anniversary of spymaster Qasem Soleimani’s assassination by the US.

The attack in Kerman in southern Iran killed 84 people and wounded many more.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

President Ebrahim Raisi’s political deputy, Mohammad Jamshidi, blamed Israel and the US. However the US said it had no indication that Israel was involved and dismissed any suggestion that Washington was involved.

My heart goes to the iranian people 💔 this definitely has US and israel written all over it! the bombing took place in martyr Qassim sulaimani’s hometown it just shows how the US and israel are scared of qassim sulaimani even after his death he still got them shaking of fear! The people were headed to his 4th martyrdom anniversary this is tragic 💔 and what a coincidence that all the resistance axis countries (iran, lebanon, iraq, syria and Yemen) who are fighting the zionists and defending Gaza got attacked all at the same time ?🤔 All the westerners and white people who still choose to live in denial; isis = US and israel founded, funded and backed groups.
