5:26 Where is the orange peel? The sugar muddling for an Old Fashioned involves orange peel…💋
Also: the “Old Fashioned” is not the oldest cocktail.
6:51 If one is going to add a nice, special orange flavor, at the end, burning the orange peel over a flame before squeezing infuses a different flavor, for wiping the rim…

For anyone who actually watches back this video and who enjoys Old Fashioned: Make one with The Famous Grouse whiskey, Angostura bitters and Maple Syrup as replacement for sugar/simple syrup. Tastes like candy :3 (Keep away from kids)

"It's bitter and it's from Angostura" lmfao Jaime… Angostura Bitters may have originally been created in Angostura but now it's from Trinidad and Tobago 😂😂

Barry: Gross beer and cream failure 1/10
    Mike: Confused beer cocktail 3/10
Jamie: Actual drink, but he was a complete idiot making it. 5/10
You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

I'd love to see the lads do a new cocktail battle but base the recipes on dishes from Ben.

the old fashioned is not even close to the first cocktail it was invented to please people who didn't want any of those new fancy drinks and wanted something more simply and old fashioned

You cant beat and Old Fashioned but use Woodford Reserve

To be fair, Jamie was the only one to make a cocktail… which is a bittered sling (and a sling is spirits, water, and sugar). Mike and Barry did not add bitters.

Head tilt to the old fashioned. I discovered the old fashioned when I was working door security in a super fancy / rich club / event space 33 floors high in central London. I always wanted to try their best whiskey and was told this was the way to do it. Treat yourself next time you fancy something new and have an old fashioned. Make sure you use good ingredients and do NOT use too many bitters as they are so strong.

What a ridiculous drink to make. You make it taste amazing but then plug it up with ice cream so you can’t even drink it, then you pour flaming alcohol on the top, but because it’s so plugged up it all just ran down the glass onto the table. I can see injury and death in a club.

In case anybody was wondering, Angostura bitter labels are too big because the brothers who made the drink originally had some miscommunication and when making the bottles for a contest.
They lost the contest but a judge said that they could make the label, their signature
