Boris Johnson has a no win scenario, he’ll either lose the election or lose his seat.

Boris Johnson was made PM for one purpose and that was to see brexit through and capitalize on it. He technically succeeded, but has fallen flat on anything else that constituency would have liked so they pretty solidly hate him at the moment. But hes dont a terrible job at doing what the more internationalists would have wanted, and they were always going to hate him anyway. So hes managed to alienate everyone who could like him and has completely disregarded any ideology behind his decisions. Hes still PM because no one else wants the job. A leadership challenge is logical, but where would it come from? A Teresa May or Cameron style tory will see Farage return and soak up much of their votes, and a more right win option like Reese Mogg as questions about national viability.

In my local city council (Manchester) Tories didn't win a single seat. Which isn't really suprising given that Manchester is pretty conservative.

Long live Boris Johnson; Not only will he survive the local elections, he'll go
on to win the next general election as well, Brexit bashing London may love
Labour and the Lib/Dems, but these two would bankrupt the country in no
Time, and unilaterally get rid of our nuclear deterrent, plus breaking up the
UK union. They would sell their curry and beer-gate soul for power.

Johnson has 357 MPs and 282 opposition MPs with a majority of 75. This makes him a virtual Dictator.Any more years of ruling unruly Britain and he will be longing to resign !
