This was an exceptionally hard challenge. A bit mean to be honest. 😢 Good on Mike for doing so well.

I’m kinda new to this channel and y’all remind me of the McElroy brothers and one of you, dont know names yet, looks like William osman

Jamie could have used the peeler on the cucumber and the cut across the length and gotten about the same as grated from it

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Limes suck, if you zest first it's hard to squeeze, if you squeeze first it's impossible to zest

I'm not someone who cooks regularly but I could absolutely do the 1st 2. It's the time crunch in the last round that would have taken me down.

WHAT KINDD OF TW…….'S THOUGHT THEY WERE CHEFS YOU NEED YOUR HEADS TESTING YOUR OBVIOUSLY CRAZY……

I'm guessing this has been taken off the app now @sortedfood? 😕

  8. @sashasscribbles

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

I wouldve loved it if they showed all of the instructions to the camera clearly and also put the answers somewhere in the video so we could play along too; seems like a really fun challenge to try~

  9. @shannonsmith4174

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

YOU SHOULD TEST THEM FOR BADGES AND NOT TELL THEM LIKE ON PASS IT ON……….

    Love it

This skills badge challenge was a really good insight into how a chefs brain works when creating a dish. Seeing a really simplified version of how they plan a suitable series of individual steps in a recipe and select the appropriate equipment to produce the dish as fast, efficiently and effectively as possible that a normal home cook doesn’t do that shows the difference between the two standards of cooks

  12. @daniwalmsley611

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

I don't think time management was judged fairly. They were told they had to cook from THEIR recipe, but bc Jamie failed the first challenge he was able to reshuffle into an order that allowed him to pass the third challenge, whereas mike who passed the first challenge as he had made a usable recipe but still not perfect failled the last challenge as he wasnt able to do the reshuffle.

I think challenge 1 and 3 together should earn them the efficiency challenge and a time management badge challenge should be giving the normals a list of things to do that can't all be done in the time and ask them to do as many as they can

  13. @johnhyson2710

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Ben is an insufferable know-it-all in this episode. This highlights the absolute worst parts of his personality.

  14. @petercottrell7654

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Really clever idea to make them sort out the order to get the equipment and cook the meal. 👍

  15. @em0_tion

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

The amount of hard work, dedication and skill you guys put into this show is honestly mind-boggling. 🙇‍♂

Just realised at the end of this video (and after watching so many of these) that Barry sounds a lot like Tony Robinson

  17. @lisat776

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

I lived in situation where we divied up (divided) chores. Cooking, cleanup, etc. the “cooks” would use every pot and pan and utensil in the kitchen because they didn’t have to clean up! They should watch this video!

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Just wondering to those who have the app, can you still find this recipe in it? because i can't… O.o

  19. @josiahwalker989

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Ummm…. has this recipe disappeared? Can't find it on your site or the app.

  20. @emilycreager2269

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

I feel bad for Barry because seemed so calm and collected for a good chunk there at the end

  21. @raideurng2508

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

    That was brutal.

  22. @DanielDugovic

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Can the audience vote for badges to revoke?

  23. @azzaisme

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Can you do a pass it on with a potential to lose badges at Kushs discretion

  24. @LekkerInJeVacht

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Please enable a paypal payment option for your international viewers! Dutchie here, would like to try and buy the app, but can't. Really, really enjoy the fact that there is actual cooking going on instead of only talking about it.

  25. @metchosinknight

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

10 mins for the first challenge is absolutely brutal

  26. @AuntK68

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

I was so stressed just by the time they finished choosing their equipment – how will I make it to the end?! 😂

  27. @johnhazlett3711

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

At least Jamie's limes didn't fall on the floor.

  28. @AdamFloro

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Watching Barry lose it over not picking measuring equipment for water to cook rice, and I'm thinking just use your finger to measure the water!

  29. @JoannaHammond

    January 4, 2024 at 12:27 pm

Should have got them to make their own garam masala. That is so much fun to do.

As someone with northernindian heritage, nah its supposed to be that thick- ebbers' batter was very thin for a pakora (even if in general that looks like a delicious light batter) and actually id personally go for gram flour over plain flour even if you can eat gluten because its just tastes better and that's.. The dish(think salmon fish fingers instead of white fish. Though India is huge so I guess sit depends where you got your recipe as there's variation obviously)? Also if you make the green beans shorter or use peas instead they'll hold together better and will be more nest-like and less like lightly battered veg that fall apart. You should be able to pick them up as a cake pretty easily not be worried about breaking them. Also if you add potato it's yummy as hell because you get these little pockets of potato as well as pockets of flavour so it's never too stodgy and dense with the thick batter. Also a moment for 'rinse the rice'. The whiteness(I'm half white). Soak the rice it has trace cyanide in it which is nothing to panic about but cyanide poisoning is cumulative: you should soak rice (which has been scientifically proven to partially break down some of those cyanide crystals which reduces the level even it it doesn't negate them) .
